I almost forgot my happy birthday on Hive since I have been busy the past few days. From the birthday of my son to my Professor roles in the Graduate School, my daily schedule has been busier these days.
And here I am with my pink dress at my favorite spot at Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Philippines.
Earlier, we celebrated my sister’s 13th birthday at Dahilayan and had my online class when we went home. When I checked for notifications earlier, I was very surprised to be notified by HiveBuzz that I am now two years on Hive. Amidst all this, I am so happy today that I have been a part of the amazing Hive blockchain community for two incredible years.
Here is the notification by HiveBuzz and later I checked it on the site. I got two badges for thriving for two years.
Tripping down memory lane, I named my account pinkchic since my favorite color is pink. I had this pseudonym even when I was in college so I was so delighted to use it even if my real name is Crystal Jade.
I joined Hive two years ago and it seemed it was like the blink of an eye that time flew so fast. Indeed, time has its wings which made my journey in Hive so wonderful through the supportive communities where collaboration thrives. From my first post to becoming an active daily author, every interaction for me has been a learning experience. And that every connection has been a stepping stone for me toward my growth in the Hive Ecosystem.
I cannot deny the fact that from the moment I entered Hive, I experienced several difficulties and challenges, but I did not give up. Instead, I learned Hive through experience along with the many supportive people and communities who have supported, guided, and influenced me. Hats off to everyone many to mention!
When I learned about Hive from a site, I was interested not to mention that I once came here for the token, but as time passed by, I realized that I was not just here for the token but to grow my account and support the Hive blockchain as well. From a redfish, I have grown my account. And from a reputation of 25, I have grown to 73. This would not be possible without the support of the community, that is why I am eternally grateful, and forever be.
I may be busy in the real world, but I always say that I would always choose Hive. And that, I am balancing my personal and professional responsibilities while staying active on Hive. My role as a teacher in the Department of Education, and at the same time, a professor in the Graduate School may demand time, but I just organize and manage everything.
Hive has provided me with a platform where I could share my personal experiences, my feelings and emotions, and my academic insights, along with my passion for community collaboration and engagement. It helped me ease the pain during the moments when I was depressed due to the tragic death of my sister. Whenever I felt sad about life, I simply wrote my emotions without the fear of being judged.
Despite the demands of daily life in the real world, one thing is for sure, and that is, "I will never leave Hive".
Hive has been with me through good and turbulent times, and I am very happy to connect with many amazing people all over the world. It helped me through the darkest days of my life with the support of genuine people through supporting morally and financially, even during the tragic death of my late sister, erikasue. I must say that Hive has been a space for me for genuine growth, engagement, and interaction.
As I celebrate my two-year milestone today, I am so excited for the future days ahead. I firmly believe that there is so much more to learn, explore, and contribute to Hive. Perhaps I am looking forward to continuing to grow in Hive Blockchain. I am truly loving Hive, always, and if there is such a thing longer than forever, that would it be.
