This diver wears a special suit designed for deep-sea diving. A lure cage is mounted on his back. When one of the sea-monsters takes the bait, he will be in the perfect position to attack its exposed gills. This old diving suit has seen many battles with undersea monsters and blends in with the landscape of the seafloor thanks to the barnacles and seaweed that overgrow it.
INSPIRATIONS
Vintage diving suits are amazing, they come in all strange shapes and sizes, some of them look like alien space suits, other like bulky robots from old sci-fi TV shows.

1878 – This diving suit by the Carmagnolle Brothers was one of the the first truly anthropomorphic suits designs. The Carmagnolle suit is on display at the National Maritime Museum in Paris.
The suit weighs 837 pounds, it's 22 joints were made of partial sections of concentric spheres formed to create a close fit and intended to be kept watertight with a loop of waterproof cloth attached to both sections of the joint and folded so as to slide upon itself when the joint was moved.
