Lukas the Trickster:
I've dedicated considerable effort to this special character from the Space Wolves chapter, and I'm excited to share my journey of creating a proxy lookalike for Lukas the Trickster in my army list. His impressive stats and the fact that he can attach to the Blood Claws make him a valuable addition to my Space Wolves.😁🐺

Lukas the Trickster is armed for battle with a Plasma Pistol and a Wolf Claw known as the Claw of the Jackalwolf.
Before I delve into my journey of crafting a proxy Lukas, let's explore a bit of background and lore on the character:
Lukas the Trickster, also identified as Lukas Strifeson, belongs to the Space Wolves Chapter of Space Marines. He's a lively and exuberant figure who challenges the authority of his superiors and enemies alike. His antics have earned him a following amongst the Blood Claws. One notable instance involves him locking an Inquisitorial genotax delegation in a grox breeding pen during mating season.🤣 He's unafraid to stir the pot, such as spiking Wolf Lord Hrothgar Ironblade's ale with venom from a bloat-toad. 😉Among his daring feats are fabricating transmissions that triggered an Ork civil war, infecting an Adeptus Mechanicus traitor cell with their own necro virus, and enticing a Word Bearers lord onto thin ice, causing Traitor Marines to plummet into the Sea of Lost Souls upon planetfall.🤪
Lukas seeks no fame within the Chapter; his desire is freedom to create chaos as he pleases, preferably taking down enemies along the way. His distinctive items include the Pelt of the Doppelgangrel, a chameleonic creature's pelt that produces shimmering images, confounding foes.💙🐿️
Unfortunately, the model itself is no longer available from Games Workshop. So, I decided to "kit bash" my own version for gameplay.

I began by 3D printing a space marine lookalike model, matching Lukas's scale.
I wasn't satisfied with the cloak and left arm as they didn't reflect the original model's appearance. Thus, I replaced the claw left arm with one from my Vanguard Veterans kit.
Then used green stuff to sculpt the cloak to the best of my ability, despite not being a great sculptor.🖨️🎨
I then shaped the arms of the cloak/Pelt of the Doppelgangrel and added them to the main cloak. It was quite a challenge, but the outcome was satisfactory. I further shaped and added the tail of the renowned creature, along with extra bits like the wolf skull, hair, and trinkets. The hair was crafted to emulate the rugged look of the original.
Now, onto the paint job...
