Warhammer 40,000 Tabletop – Slow Grow League 2024 - Build and Paint Progress for First 500 Points.
Good day, fellow Hivers, friends, and the awesome community!
This marks the "first" post and the beginning (read more here on what this is about: https://ecency.com/hive-189497/@xenowolfza/the-10-000-and-the) of this year’s slow grow league hosted by our local hobby store every year.
As we kick off and start, we have the months of February and March to build, paint, and play with our armies.⚔️😜
Here are some of my progress and plans for future units and models. So, I only need to build and paint six models to have me qualify for 500 points by the end of March, which is the first requirement of the league.💪
For reference: Feb & March: 500 points, April: 250 points, May: 250 points, June: 500 points, July: 250 points, August: 250 points, and then ending at 2000 points in total.

The Build:
The problem – I don’t have too much time at hand, and I am lazy when it comes to building the models. So, I am paying my fellow wargamer and buddy @zakludick to help me build the models. See below some photos of those done so far:
The Paint Job:
All models are getting bases in the theme of a Lava death world. See pictures; the rest of the models I have started working on, see pictures below. The only one I will not be painting is Trajann Valoris (see model below); this will be done by one of our local Painting legends, a lady who is well known for her skills, and she will be doing this in Non-metallic metal.
