Hello everyone,😊 today I'm sharing with us, another earrings project of mine.
One of my favorite earring crafts right now is fringe earrings, for their unique and beautiful outlook and my ability to combine beautiful colors and create shapes of my liking. So today, I will show you my latest earrings, fringe earrings, as part of my earrings gifting project. Please come along, and let's create something beautiful 😍.
Earlier on, I had shopped for some beautiful beads in different colors, which I have been playing around with.
In this tutorial, I will be using the following materials.
✓ Size two seed beads: bright yellow, lemon green, and slight butter color.
✓ Pipe-cut golden seed beads
✓ 0.2 nylons beading thread
✓ beading needle, size 11/0
✓ scissors
✓ plier
✓ earring hooks
Step 1:
To create the brick stitch at the top, first thing first, I threaded a 120 cm fish line on my needle and then put four slight butter-colored beads on it. I passed the fishline through the four beads one more time to make it firm.
Step 2:
Here I continue to build the bricks by using a single bead until I have 9 lines of beads. Then turn and continue to build it upward.
Until I have a complete triangle
Step 3:
I put three beads on my fishline, followed by my earring hook and then another three beads. I passed my needle through the only thread line remaining and then passed it around two more times to reinforce the work.
Step 4:
I passed the thread around until I was certain the work was firm. Here is the upper part of the earrings called brick stitch.
Step 5:
I simply proceed to make the fringes. I pull my fishline through the last two beads of the bricks, then put three slightly butter-colored beads, followed by one green bead, one bright yellow bead, one green, one yellow, one green, and one yellow bead. Followed by six green beads, then three yellow and three green interchangeably, and then one pipe cut golden, followed by three yellow beads.
Step 6:
I simply repeat step 5 above, only that the first light butter color is 5 instead of 3.
Step 7:
I continue to make the fringe by increasing the first slight butter color beads by two while the rest of the beads remain the same number.
Step 8:
After making the fifth fringe here, I began to reduce the slight butter color beads by two to balance on the other side.
Step 9:
I continue to repeat step 8 above until I finish making the fringes. I passed my fishline up around the bricks, then cut off the excess fishlines once I was certain the work was firm. And that gives me one of the earrings.
Step 10:
I simply repeat all the steps above to make the other part of the earrings.
Stunning huh?
I love the color combination and how the whole earrings turned out. This one is specifically made for one of my sisters, and I can't wait to see her reaction when she sees it.
Thank you so much for your attention and your support 🥰 have a lovely 🌹 ahead.
