Greetings everyone, today I want to share with you a bracelet in the macramé technique for Barbie, this is a gift that I will give to my niece who will be 14 years old in a few days, I made it for Barbie because it is a reason classic for girls and adolescents, besides that it is currently very fashionable due to the movie, I know that my niece really likes the color pink and fuchsia, she is the same as her mother 😄 that is to say my sister, who always liked it the pink one and played with Barbies until she was already a teenager, something that seems fine to me considering that girls should play dolls or any game that allows them to remain girls for the corresponding time, I, on the other hand, despite having some Barbies in the childhood I enjoyed playing other things, but there are girls who really enjoy dolls, I hope this post is useful for all those who want to make a Barbie craft for their daughters or nieces, if you do, let me know 😊

Proceso / Process
To make this pattern I looked for a reference to Barbie's letters and made some small modifications to adapt the figure to the dimensions of the bracelet. I also added some hearts to the design. The pattern consists of 20 vertical squares, which indicates that 20 base threads or guides will be used, each square corresponds to a simple knot, therefore the changes are made according to the limits of the pattern.
With the fuchsia thread, cut eight 60cm strands and two 80cm strands, place the long strands on the edges, hold the strands in the middle with a clip, with the long strands make 20 flat knots that wrap the center strands, alternating the knot in the form of "4" and the knot in the form of "P", as seen in the photos.
Fold in a “U” shape and fasten with the clip, in this way the twenty base strands remain. With the thread attached to the ball, make two rows of simple knots, that is, the thread wraps the base threads twice one by one back and forth, then add the pink thread behind and make the color changes where correspond according to the graph to make the hearts.
Add in white thread to make the knots corresponding to the letters of Barbie, this part is very fun and easy to do because you only work with two colors, using white as an outline of the shape of the letter that is the same fuchsia color than the background.
Once again, pink is used to make the three hearts at the end, finish with two rows of simple knots with only the fuchsia color, divide the strands into two parts and make two braids finished with a knot.

I am very happy with the result and at the same time I am anxious to give the gift to my niece. I hope you liked it.
