Crafting is an enjoyable and creative process that allows me to express my talents while creating something unique and decorative. One of the simplest and most beautiful diy craft i engage in today is making a hanging ornament to decorate and add a sense of elegance to any home. Today was a free day for me so I just decided to make something decorative and something that can also lightened up my room a little bit, so I had this idea of making a simple hanging ornament from coloured paper and it turned out great. Below are the process involved in making this simple hanging decoration.
MATERIALS
• Color papers (orange and pink)
• Scissor
• Glue
• Pencil
• Thick and thin yarns
PROCEDURE

I began my craft by cutting a rectangular shape on my pink paper, then I rolled each of the paper into six cylindrical structure.

After doing that, I then made a square shape using the folded cylindrical structure which I made.

After that take a large orange color paper. Cut the paper into several rectangular shapes. Cut many small square shapes from the rectangular papers to make flowers. Fold the small squares diagonally three times. Then draw a round flower petal shape using pencil. Cut the lines to make a flower shape.

In this step I attach the flower to a thin thread using my gum, I tie different numbers of flower to each thread as shown below.

After doing that, I then carefully tie the flowers with the thread to the square shaped structure, small strings are tied at the four arms of the base.

Using my thick yarn I cut four pieces of it , tie each of the yarn to each of the cylindrical structure. Then I tie all of them together to
And then my hanging craft was now ready, here's my final result.
Handmade craft like this hanging decoration are special because they reflect personal creativity and efforts. With some basic materials and a bit of creativity I was able to create a stunning piece of wall decor that brings Beauty and joy to my surroundings.
