Hello gorgeous members of @diyhb community, still in the new month vibes wishing everyone a happy ember month with loads of love. 💕 Today am thrilled to share with us all this cute little honey bee and beehive I made.
Wondering what to do for today's diy, so I decided to come up with a third entry for the International bee hive contest. To make it unique, I decided to do something quite different from my other entries which this one is a bit different and I must say I love the outcome.
To begin with the process of the honey bee and hive, these were the materials used:
*Cardboard paper (blue 💙 and yellow 💛)
*Scissor
*Poster color
*Rule and pencil
*Evostic glue
Firstly, to make the bee hive I cut little stripes of the yellow card as much as I can after which I folded it to give the needed shape and then glue the tips together. I did this till I was able to fold all the stripes.
Secondly, I cut out a rhombus shape with the yellow cardboard ♦️ using a pen and rule after which I cut it out with a scissor.
when I was through i began to place the shapes i did with the stripes and began to place on the rhombus shape. One after the other till I was done.
Thirdly, I drew three little honey bee with the yellow card and used the pen to draw the black stripes on its body.
Fourtly, I cut out a sizable rectangular shape with the blue cardboard after which I drew a tree and colored it brown while it leaves green just like the trees around us and then went ahead to paste it on the blue rectangular card.
Fifth, I placed the hive on the blue cardboard using glue to make it stick after which I placed the honey bee 🐝 on it and then placed the bees .
Sixth, I colored a blue cardboard green and also placed it on the board. Which represents earth. 🌎
I later went ahead to draw a dotless line from the bottom of the bee which represents the honey the bee releases
Lastly, to give it more beauty I drew and painted two daisy flowers and colored it pink.
Indeed bees are so important to mankind, providing us with a natural sweetener and all of it essence.
Thank you for your time, peace 🕊️
