Good morning my fellow DIYer,
Do you know the kind of feeling you get when you receive your first order out of state? That’s the feeling I got when one of my friends out of state placed an order for this bag. I haven’t make this design before but he requested for a white bag and I was like, why not work with a white pearl since I’ve not used it before. I always love to try things I’ve not tried before to see it’s outcome.
This design is a simple but a bit complicated one. Thankfully, I didn’t make any mistake while creating the style for the first time which is a blessing. I tend to miscalculate sometimes when I’m working with a design for this first time and you know this bead bag making requires calculation. You need to know the specific number of beads you want to use and they must correlate. If you make a single mistake, it can have a huge effect on the overall look of the bag.
MATERIALS USED
- 0.8mm white pearl bead
- 0.7 fishing line
- Scissors
- Magnet
PROCESS
- The first thing I did was to create a small rectangle with the beads as seen below.
- Next I fill in the middle by beading inside all through. After that, I joined the two sides together.
- Then I fixed the magnets and I beaded the sides as seen below.
- Finally, I joined the sides which leads to the handle.
- Then I beaded the handle to the length I want and I joined it to the other end.
