This is the first time I have received a fabric model stitch like this. To make a cloth pattern like this, you must know the correct cloth cutting strategy. Not all tailors know the correct fabric cutting strategy. Say like me, often times I am still not quite right in cutting cloth. Because it started with measurements and cuts that were not correct, the meter cloth that was provided mediocre might not be enough.
Here I have a metered batik cloth with 2 meters of legs. What's more, the fabric that I have is part of the metered fabric, which is quite small, 2 meters long and 1 meter wide. The meter cloth here also has a batik motif with legs, so the method of cutting the cloth must follow the flow of the cloth downwards based on the motif of the legs. The difference between ordinary, plain cloth that has no motif and cloth with batik motifs and legs is definitely a short cloth area. So, as clever as the tailor is in the process of measuring and cutting the right cloth.
The method of measuring and cutting this kind of cloth must start from the middle down. This is a measurement of the front pattern that has front buttons. The folding of the cloth is also different from the usual rectangular ones of this kind of fabric and the shirt model must be folded wide by wide. So, start measuring from the middle down and then higher up to measure the pattern of the arm. If you don't like this method, then only 2 meters of tape measure will definitely not be enough, especially if the customer is long and also contains a little.
The folding pattern on the back must be the same as the pattern on the front, it cannot be one down and one up because the legged batik cloth must follow the groove of the cloth, just don't exaggerate the buttons. For the neckline, go up half an inch down one inch, add half an inch to the armpit and waist from the front pattern.
I took the measurement for the sleeve pattern from the remaining front and back pattern cuts. The way to fold the cloth is like this and to get down the armpits are usually adults 4 inches, children 2-3 inches. This is the result of cutting the arm pattern.
First, I sewed the front button for the front pattern, I sewed it right and left, after that I overworked it.
After that I paired it with the pattern on the back.
Then I combined it with the sleeve pattern and on my arm I also added Li zippers to make it cuter.
Finally, the modern women's batik shirt with a zipper on the hand is finished. This shirt is also suitable for wearing anywhere and anywhere, you can wear it with culottes or you can also wear it with a long skirt which is definitely very comfortable to wear. Hopefully the customer is satisfied with the results of my sewing.
