Hope you all are going great.
Today i am here to share a diy with you which is my personal way to honor honeybees๐๐.
If we talk about the history of national bee days which is on third saturday of August which is initiated by a beekeeper in 2009 to bring attention to vital role that bees play in our ecosystem.
Today my post is about national honey bee day to honor our bees which are responsible for pollinating about 75% of fruits,nuts etc.
So today i made a drawing showing a hive of honeybees how some of them are returning to hive and a bee which is enjoying itself on a sunflower.
I am not a beekeeper but i have alot of knowledge about bees because they are my sister's roommate.You guys must be confused how they can be her roommates so let me tell you guys that my sister's room is in the corner of the house and on the outer side of her window there are two hives of bees and when she opens her window they came inside and they all chill.
My sister don't bother them at all and one day being so friendly with bees ๐she messed up with her and the bee bitten her straight above her eye and her eye become so swelled thay she can't even see of 3 days.
So long story short
Don't mess with them if you want them to be calm
That was my funny experience with bees but my post today is to encourage people to take action in protecting bees in any way possible.
Let's move to the process to make this art .
Things you need
1)soft chart
2)Led pencil โ
3)Acrylic colours
4)Black pointer
5)Eraser
The process
1)Draw the hive,the tree,clouds and the sunflower and then outline them with a black pointer.
2)Now start colouring the drawing.
I started with the tree and used brown and green acrylic colours.
Then i coloured the clouds and i used blue acrylic colour.
When i was doing these colours i got these colours everywhere even in my hairs.๐
Then i coloured the hive which was the most difficult and time consuming part and i mixed so many colours to make this colour and then coloured the bee roaming around in her hive.
Then i coloured the bees and the sunflower part.
And its ready๐๐ค
