I was going through videos on TikTok today and I saw a video of a girl and her friend going for a flower walk with a paper flower vase, I found it nice and cute as it was my first time seeing people go on a flower walk.
I decided to do something similar and I was shocked at the outcome of my flower vase.
The creation of this flower vase is a testament that anything is achievable as long as you set your mind to do it.
For a while now I have enjoyed embarking on several DIY projects as nothing beats creating things with your hands and seeing how beautifully they turn out and also nothing beats smiling sheepishly when you see whatever you are creating begin to take form.
Now I understand why most people enjoy creating things with their hands and do not stop at one creation they go on and on taking more complex and creative projects because it’s actually FUN.
After creating this flower vase, I was so happy with the outcome and I decided to change the flowers whenever they wither.
Below are the materials and steps I took to make my flower vase.
Materials
Cardboard Paper
Scissors
Flowers
Pencil
Red Biro
Step 1:
I started by drawing my flower vase, making it big enough to achieve just the desired size and form I wanted.
Step 2:
I drew the necessary design on my vase making sure there weren’t any mistakes.
Step 3
I moved to shading some parts of my design with a red biro and seeing that I was satisfied with the outcome I proceeded to the next step.
Step 4:
My drawing looked so beautiful and ready to hold some fresh flowers. To insert the flowers in my flower vase I had to bore some holes on top of my flower vase as this would enable me to insert my flowers quickly and smoothly and these holes were done by using my biro.
Step 5:
I gathered my flowers and carefully inserted them into the holes, the more I added the flowers the more beautiful and realistic my vase became.
Step 6:
I put some finishing touches on my flower vase and made sure it was good to go.
