Recently we celebrated in my local church, the youth week. For that occasion we did several initiatives, among them, the selfie frame that I will show you how I made it.
Selfie frames are something that has been very trendy lately, they are made with different themes: weddings, birthdays, graduations, and all kinds of celebrations. There can be as many types of selfie frames as there are reasons to celebrate in life. So, in my opinion, there can be an infinite number of varieties.

Hace poco celebramos en mi iglesia local, la semana de los jóvenes. Para esa ocasión hicimos varias iniciativas, entre ellas, el marco de selfie que les enseñaré cómo lo elaboré.
Los marcos de selfie son algo que últimamente se ha visto muy en tendencia, se hacen con diferentes temáticas: bodas, cumpleaños, graduaciones, y todo tipo de celebraciones. Pueden existir tantos tipos de marco de selfie como motivos para festejar hay en la vida. Entonces, en mi opinión, pueden haber infinidad de variedades.

With the help of a cutter and a ruler I cut out the frame, and for the final touch I used a lot of glitter and black marker to highlight the edges.

Result
When I made my selfie frame, given the measurements I used to make it, I expected it to fit only 1 to 3 people for each photo.
What a surprise when I saw that we managed to take a picture with the frame, absolutely all the young people of the church together. It was just a problem of perspective hahaha.
Then I took away a great lesson. "Selfie" comes from the word "self" in English, which means "myself" in Spanish. I learned that when we stop looking only at "ourselves" is when the most beautiful memories are created.

Cuando hice mi marco de selfie, dadas las medidas con que lo elaboré, esperaba que en él cupiesen para cada foto solamente de 1 a 3 personas.
Cuál no sería mi sorpresa cuando vi que logramos tomarnos una fotografía con el marco, absolutamente todos los jóvenes de la iglesia juntos. Era solo un problema de perspectiva jajaja.
Entonces me llevé una gran lección. “Selfie” viene del vocablo “self” en inglés, que significa “yo mismo” en español. Aprendí que cuando dejamos de mirarnos solo a "nosotros mismos" es que se crean los recuerdos más hermosos.
