Some lucky people were selected to spend their holiday abroad, it was an holiday trip that was fully paid for by the sponsors. All the beneficiaries were duly informed and given money to pay for their flight ticket. With all excitement, every beneficiary went into preparation for the journey. New shoes, clothes and traveling boxes were bought including winter clothes and boots.
While everyone bought their flight ticket to qualify them to board the aircraft as part of their preparation for the trip, Jim forgot though he made other aspects of the preparation as others did.
On the day of the journey, all beneficiaries were conveyed from the office to the travel agency to the airport as a team. While waiting for their flight to be announced, they busied themselves chatting away and telling others of how pleasant their foreign trip will be and the places of interest they will like to visit.
Then came the announcement for their flight. As other team mates hurried out of the waiting hall, Jim joined them. Out there was a brand new Boeing 747 aircraft smelling fresh and with a dazzling color and tingling engine sound. Its body outlook was simply inviting, the inside was fully air-conditioned with good quality music gently flowing from the loud speakers. It was ready to be airlift for the beneficiaries to the foreign land for their all bills paid holiday. Everyone filed up with their boarding pass in hand and we're accordingly checked into the aircraft.
Then came Jim's turn and the usher politely asked "Your boarding pass, Sir?" It was then that it dawned on Jim that of all the excitement and important preparations he made for the trip, he forgot the most crucial aspect of getting the flight ticket. Of course, Jim was checked out and could not make it with the rest.
