It happens to be a terrible week this week. Not just for me, but for everyone in West Africa. One of my plans was to play a tournament with my friends, but some days ago we started experiencing lots of difficulties accessing the Internet.
There is cable that got damaged in the sea, and millions of people were affected by their network. After I wrote my social media challenge, I found it so hard to play another game.
In fact, for so many hours, I couldn't access Hive, nor was I able to blog on time. I thought it was my personal network, and of course, my personal network can also be frustrating sometimes. But this time around, it's the country that's in trouble.
Since then, all my plans have changed; I can't even attend to anything or play more battles. But Nigeria is even better; I have not seen any of my Ghanian friends online, as I realized that their own network issues are extremely high.
It will take them days to be able to fix this cable, if not weeks. We hope they fix it on time so everything can come back to normal.
Here is one of the battles I played this week.
The rule of the battle is even Stevens, which means only monsters with even mana costs may be used in battles.
And the mana cap given me was 15 mama caps. With all six elements,.
Since it is a 15-mana cap, I thought of using obsidian as my summoner. And I choose endless ape as my front role since it is a melee card and it has the ability of a scavenger. Which means it gains maximum health each time any unit dies. This cap alone has eight mana caps. So there is no time for me to choose as many as I want.
I move forward to choose Xenith Archer. This is a range card that has just two mana caps.
But when I saw what my opponent chose, I realized he outsmarted me with his abilities. It would have ended in praise for me if I had used better abilities. But then it's fine. We keep learning every day.
My opponent chooses a Venari knifer with their ability if hit by a male card. That alone has broken my ribs.
He went ahead and chose the drybone bowdog. With the abilities of scatterhot, range, and magic, attacks hit a random enemy target. And ambush. This ambush is also a powerful ability.
I believe network is also part of the problem I faced that made me lose that battle because I couldn't even relax to select my card. I waited for more than one minute before I could select one card; in fact, I did not believe I would be able to submit my battle as the network is so terrible. I'm looking forward to this week, and perhaps they will be able to fix the network issues on time and get back to my toes.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a nice day.
