The owl looked around. No one was paying attention to the class. The owl had the duty to teach that week and the students seemed to be too distracted if that was the right term to be used for this class.
Take for example, @burlarj the eagle. He was always teasing Xawi the tigress. She was usually minding her own business and playing splinterlands but when the eagle was around, she was summoned and then teased and of course that made her very angry.
Then there were the discussion group members like Mawit who were mainly interested in money matters and what crypto to invest in.
Lion the meatless was always gentle and never bothered to trouble anyone. The naughty ones like Xabi and Juice were always waiting for a chance to hop around the class, of course. Some came once a year like Ife the butterfly and Bee the bee. Nobody has seen the Sim card recently although he gets in the giveaways polls quite mysteriously.
The dragon who is the headmaster of the school enters the classrooms with a roar and everyone is silent. You could hear a pin drop. Perhaps that is why they call it the - Pin drop silence.
The curators are the mysterious beings who appear once in a week and drop posts for the weekly paper. They do wish for more time though so that they can spend it in the classrooms with the others. Burl is an entertainer, for sure.
Coming back to the owl, she took her cane and started tapping the desk, and hooted. All fell silent. They were afraid she would report to the dragon and then they would have to go to the crying room. I heard that Quduus1 is already there. What mischief has he done now? All are a handful. The dragon agreed.
There are dragons like Ray who appear suddenly and inspire those in the city. He is too busy now to visit every day and spend more time although the others wish he was there like before. Oh, the fun time the class had.
With splinterlands changing the way the rewards work with the season starting on 31st May 2022, the class had some serious talking to do and the owl was waiting patiently for the others to keep quiet.
Would they play with more vigor? Would actual card owners come up and fill the missing spots? Would the renters leave? There were so many possibilities and even the developers were not sure how it would all turn out finally.
More and more projects on Hive were now being released and it would take a lot of genuine effort by the people releasing projects to make a mark like the one by splinterlands.
However, the relatively new Listnerds is taking off quite well and more and more Neoxianers are joining it.
Others tried sneaking into the class to hear what the tigress was advising her fellow guild members but Burl chased them away with the help of Momo and the developers - Bala and Coding.
The giveaway at the end of the class was very relaxing and everyone enjoyed it. After all, it was family.
