Got Save By Coeurl Lurker In Shade Of Grey

One of the battle ruleset I really don't like since I started playing the game is the Shade of Grey ruleset and we are having it as out battle mage ruleset this week, this ruleset only allow neutral cards in this particular battle and it is really tiring because my neutral collection is below average, I don't even have strong monster cards because I just focus on the element based cards, so most of the time, I do get defeated easily except I decided to rent some neutral cards like Arkmis, Venka or Coeurl luker, this 3 are the major card I do rent just to ease my battle .

So I had this particular battle which is 15mana capped, it was really low and won't really make you pick some certain cards and also prevent you from filling your positions, so I had to just think of what to do, if I cant fill my squad then I need a card that will be an obstacle to all cards, at some point, I was thinking maybe Legionnaire alvar will be a good choice because the armour is much and there is void armour pre but that won't be sustainable enough since I have no hint on what my opponent might be brining on board so I was kind of lucky having Coeurl Lurker at that point so I just compare the abilities since it is within my mana cap, first the taunt make it the major attack receiver, the dodge speed is anti melee and range card because it allow those kind of card to miss, the phase allow magic card to miss also and if it was maxed, there will be thorn that will dealt damage back to attackers.

Checking out the stat, it has 4 melee strength which is ok, 4 speed which will complement the dodge ability and 11 health which make it a good choice, I picked Keyla Frendul as my summoner to add extra 1 speed and 1 armour to it and summited the battle. I was not really surprised when I saw my opponent selection, he came up with a melee, a magic card and a non attacking card, I knew immediately what I picked is a plus for me. His Xenith Monk wasn't that strong, just 1 strength and it miss a lot of turn, also his Magi of chaos miss after each attack due to the work of phase ability if not, he might have won the battle easily which let him with the non attacking card and I won the battle at round 11.

Do you think this is a good pick and if Coeurl is a good card in all stats?
