Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. Excuses are mostly used when we are trying to run away from taking responsibilities or at the point when we've lost interest about a particular thing or person and one of the most popular one is "I am busy". It may be true that we are busy some times but most times we are not. We are only looking for an escape route from doing what we're meant to do. Well, sit back, relax and enjoy all that I have packaged for your reading pleasure.

We are all guilty of this excuse and it doesn't seem like we'd ever stop using it. I have used it on countless occasions and I may still use it today or in the near future. This excuse is not far from our lips because it is very short and easy to use when we're meant to act on something. It is also quite difficult for the other person to tell whether you are actually busy or not. So in most cases they'd just concur with what you have said.
We use this excuse in so many ways and it have become almost some people's norms. For instance, when a man or woman is losing interest in their partner they use the "I'm busy" excuse when they are asked why they haven't tried to reach out in a while. When a person says they are busy to make a call or text that would not take less than five minutes out of 24 hours, then you should see the bold writing on the wall.
In the same vein, we use the "I am busy" or "I have been busy" excuse when we are faced with health challenges as a reason to show that we have not had time to take care of our body. There are people who do not take care of their skin, house, clothes, etc and when they are being asked for the reason, they give this flimsy excuse. Not only that, there are some of us who have never visited our friends or families in a long time just because we're forming busy even though they create time to visit us.
It is no doubt that great friendship and genuine relationship have been damaged just because of this excuse. It is not possible for a friendship or relationship to thrive when it is not reciprocated. After a while when you do not return your friend's visit or you do not create time for outings and the likes, the bond will begin to fall apart. The reality of life is that no human can exist in isolation, we need each other to survive but we do not always make the necessary sacrifice.
In no time, you'd realize that you are left all by yourself since you have not taken time to groom the relationship you share with people. We must understand the essence and value of creating good connections and spare some of our time to nurture these relationships (even if we're genuinely busy). There will be that time in your life that you will need people around you but you may not see anyone since you didn't create time for them when they also need you.
Even when we are not busy, we use this excuse and it become part of our lifestyle that we can not do without it because we are trying to portray an image that we are not. In an attempt to get rid of making unnecessary excuses we must know how to set our priorities right by doing the right thing at the right time. When you set your priorities right, you'd have time to do what you want to do as at when due without any excuses.
When you are faced with a whole lot of things to do, you must know that you can't do all at once, and this is the main reason why you should set your priorities right. When this is in place then you know what to pay your attention to and what to get rid of. This will make your life more enjoyable.
