Sunday Afternoon
I have a little over a week with the car in the workshop, so I have had to move wherever I need to go, walking, which is why, as far as possible, I choose nearby places for everything, from buying food and groceries to distract me.
Yesterday, Sunday, taking advantage of the good weather in the city since the rainy season that usually lasts until late October or early November, began recently and a proof of this were the heavy rains that fell in much of the country on Thursday and Friday; I went to a beautiful park that I often visit.
In addition to its proximity, this public space allows me to distract myself in a healthy way, and connect in a more intimate way with nature with its abundant vegetation, although I must confess that the prolonged drought we experienced since late last year, affected the greenery of the grass, but not the trees, although surely with the recent rains I have no doubt that it will become green again.
Tengo poco más de una semana con el carro en el taller, así que me ha tocado trasladarme a donde que necesite ir, caminando, razón por la cual, escojo en la medida de lo posible, lugares cercanos para todo, desde comprar alimentos y víveres hasta distraerme.
Ayer Domingo, aprovechando que había buen tiempo en la ciudad ya que la temporada de lluvias que suele extenderse hasta finales de Octubre o principios de Noviembre, se inició recientemente y una prueba de ello fueron las intensas lluvias que cayeron en gran parte del país los días Jueves y Viernes; acudí a un hermoso parque al que suelo visitar frecuentemente.
Además de su cercanía, este espacio público me permite distraerme de una forma sana, y conectarme de alguna manera más íntima con la naturaleza con su abundante vegetación, aunque debo confesar que la prolongada sequía que experimentamos desde finales del año pasado, afectó el verdor de la grama, no así el de los árboles, aunque seguramente con las recientes lluvias no tengo dudas que reverdecera nuevamente.
On weekends, a large number of people come to the park, where different recreational and sporting activities take place, from groups practicing yoga to those who just come to rest peacefully in their spaces while the day goes by, while others prefer to sail the waters of the pond in rowboats that can be rented for a small fee.
Another reason why I like to go there is because I find ideal scenarios for photography, a hobby that attracts me a lot and that the different social networks, in addition to the Hive ecosystem has allowed me to exploit in the best and broadest sense of the word.
Los fines de semana, una gran cantidad de personas acuden al parque, donde se realizan diferentes actividades recreativas y deportivas, desde grupos que practican yoga hasta quienes sólo acuden para descansar plácidamente en sus espacios mientras transcurre el día, mientras otros prefieren surcar las aguas del estanque en botes de remos que puedan rentarse por un módico precio.
Otra de las razones por la que me gusta ir, es porque encuentro escenarios idóneos para la fotografía, una afición que me atrae bastante y que las diferentes redes sociales, además del ecosistema Hive me ha permitido explotar en el mejor y más amplio sentido de la palabra.
