Mama chatted with me the other night, asking if I had my big brother's baptismal certificate. And from what I remember, I don't have them, I only have my little brother's papers, and Mama's letting me keep them. So I replied that I don't have it. Then the next morning she chatted with me again, asking me to accompany her to the Catholic church nearby where we had our baptism. At first I told her I didn't want to because the day she had to go to church was also the day we had to go back to LTO. But its still in the afternoon, so I still have time to accompany her. After some thinking, I decided to accompany Mama, lol.
I just learned the reason why my brother needs it, and according to Mama, my big brother will get married in Batangas. It was sponsored by their company, where they work. My brother grabbed the opportunity because, why not? When I heard it, I couldn't help but get excited. I mean, I think it's just about time to tie the knot between them, they have three kids now, so I think it is really the best time for them to get married. The sad thing is, we're not sure if we can attend. We may just support them from afar, wishing them the best life as husband and wife.
We can choose to attend, but that will require lots of money, the fare to get to Batangas from Mindoro using a ship or boat is not cheap anymore. And I will attend with Mama, then I'll need more cash to get there. Anyhow, I am also happy for their kids, I'm sure that it is their kids who's the happiest at their upcoming wedding, aside from the parents. I am not sure yet if the kids will attend because they are currently here in Mindoro. They are attending school now, their first born and the second. While the eldest is still a baby, a cutie baby boy. Hihi.
Anyhow, enough with the big news. Come with us as we go to the church to get the needed papers. The church is actually not that far from home. We just get there on foot, embracing the warm breeze as the sun is already out and shining so brightly. We left home at 7:59 and arrived in church at 8:04 am. That's like a 5-minute walk.
We could get there much earlier, but I just took my time enjoying the view on the way. I mean, even if it's hot, if there's eye-catching plants, flowers, trees, and animals on the way, wouldn't you take your time to admire and appreciate them? Then snap a few shots, right? Lioe, these flowers here that are in full bloom. I think they just crawl and attach themselves to these tall trees. Now it looks like a beautiful tree in full bloom with its pretty flowers. I'm not sure what kind of flower this is, but it sure is lovely.
I also get to see different kinds of plants on the way. There's a "plantita" and a "plantito" who planted those in there, that's for sure. They did good making their home much livelier with these pretty plants and flowers outside.
Here's more, they know how these plants and flowers can affect someone's mood. Even me as just a passerby who appreciates their beauty. It boosts my mood too, and I definitely enjoy our walk even with the scorching heat of the sun that makes us sweat. Ehe ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
You know, when we arrive at the church office, the office is still close. So we decided to just wait in there while chitchatting, but then the person in charge arrive a minute after us. Lucky us! Hihi. .
We followed the woman in charge and she asked what we're looking for. She accommodated us warmly and told us what we needed to get the certificates. She asked the exact date of the wedding as well as the name of the church. It took us time because Lady, my sister-in-law, just arrived in their company, and she has to run to HR to know the exact date. The good thing is, she's still available at that time. My brother is already working that time, so he can't give us a reply immediately. It's a good thing Lady is still available at that time.
Anyhow, we finished our business there and decided to go home. Here's a pretty flower I saw on our way home. A tree with these flowers in full bloom. Pretty, isn't it?
We successfully finish what needs to be done, and yesterday, Mama went to Pinamalayan to send the papers via LBC courier. It will take 3 days before the parcel arrives in Batangas. And, oh, by the way, they are already taking care of the papers that were needed, even though the wedding is still next year in February. And that's because they need to submit it to the company, the company will take care of everything for them. I think.
