I can't really remember my seventh birthday, but I heard that it is one important celebration here in the Philippines. It is just like the 18th birthday with all the special effects and with 18 something. It is surely one of the most amazing celebrations a kid can have. But, I really don't have an idea about all these, its importance, how it's usually celebrated, what's their cooking, or whatever. Last week my sister-in-law messaged me about my niece's 7th birthday, inviting me and all, and that me, mama, and mommy F are included with the small party that will take place in their house.
I told her that I'm unsure and can't give her an answer yet. But then, that's when she mentioned how important 7th birthday is to a child. And that it only happens once, so she said we should really consider attending. I suddenly feel pressured after reading her reply, though I'm sure it is unintentional, perhaps she just wants me to know. Piaya will love it for sure. Attending a birthday celebration and going in there - there's really a lot to consider. The expenses for the gifts as well as the expenses for the fare. Their house is really far from the highway, so we have to ride a tricycle to get to their house. Then how about going back ( ꈍᴗꈍ).
Anyways, the money is all really the problem, and what's stopping me from attending. Then I have expensive medication for my nose. But then, after checking my hard-earned HBD in my Hive Account, I thought, "Well, I do have a savings." So in the end, I decided that we would attend. Hihi. Problem solved! Thank you so much, Hive, you are the answer to what my problem is. I know that we never really attend my niece's previous birthdays, so I want to go this time. I'll just stop thinking about money for now and enjoy my niece's birthday, which, by the way, will happen on the 17th of September. And I already received the gift I ordered for her. I'm all ready now (人 •͈ᴗ•͈).
My niece's birthday has something like this: 7 gifts, 7 balloons, 7 sweets, 7 cupcakes, 7 roses, 7 bills, and 7 footwear. Gosh, that's a lot. I'm still wondering what's really the reason behind all these 7, 7, 7, thingy. Anyways, I am on 7 footwear, so meaning I have to bring either slippers, sandals, or shoes. For Mama, she's on 7 gifts, and for Mommy F, she's on the 7 bills. They really know who has money among us, lol. Mommy F is kind of generous to her grandkids, she loves to give them food too whenever they visit us here in the house. They're sometimes brought by their Lola to say hi.
So for the gifts, Mama decided to buy a bag for Piaya, she's in school now, it could be useful for her every day. As for me, I got her boots, omoo! Of course, when it comes to design and what to give, I had to ask Piaya's mother. Who knows her well, from what she likes and doesn't like? At least, if I know, my niece will surely like it. And really, I'm not good at gift-giving. That's why I'd rather give cash than a gift. At least with money, they can buy what they really want. Righty? Ehe. I think a lot of people like money now as a gift, and I'm one of them. How about you? Lol.
Now I feel good because we can surely attend my niece's 7th birthday celebration. And aside from that, we have gifts ready for her. We won't be ashamed now to go, lol. These gifts are really just a simple one, but I really hope Piaya will love them and will also use them for a very long time. ( ◜‿◝ )♡
