Hace unos días el equipo de Hive Barquisimeto tuvo una muy productiva reunión con los directivos de la cámara de comercio del estado Lara, en esta oportunidad Hive fue representado por @joheredia21, @yonnathang y mi persona, si desean leer un poco sobre la reunión darle click aquí, no ha sido por azar, ni por una suerte del destino la posibilidad de darse esta primera reunión, digo primera porque ya hemos agendado una próxima reunión dentro de poco junto a los 13 miembros de la junta directiva de la Cámara de Comercio, institución con más de 120 años de trayectoria en la región y con cientos de negocios, comercios y empresarios afiliados a su programa.
Ahora bien, en este punto quiero dar un giro narrativo, porque lo importante de esta publicación no son los detalles de la reunión, eso se los comentaré en otra oportunidad (pueden seguir la cuenta de @hiversbqto ya que es el canal oficial de la comunidad de hivers de la región), lo que deseo resaltar es el valor de las relaciones humanas ya que ha sido un factor determinante en poder concretar y ejecutar la reunión comentada.
A few days ago the Hive Barquisimeto team had a very productive meeting with the directors of the chamber of commerce of the state of Lara, in this opportunity Hive was represented by @joheredia21, @yonnathang and myself, if you want to read a little about the meeting give [click here](https://peakd. com/hive-167922/@yonnathang/hive-en-la-camara-de), it has not been by chance, nor by a luck of fate the possibility of this first meeting, I say first because we have already scheduled a next meeting soon with the 13 members of the board of the Chamber of Commerce, an institution with over 120 years of experience in the region and with hundreds of businesses, stores and entrepreneurs affiliated to its program.
Now, at this point I want to give a narrative twist, because the important thing about this publication is not the details of the meeting, I will tell you about that another time (you can follow the account @hiversbqto as it is the official channel of the hivers community in the region), what I want to highlight is the value of human relations as it has been a determining factor in being able to realize and execute the meeting discussed.
El vicepresidente de la cámara de comercio, Simón Salas es una persona que conozco hace años, si no me equivoco desde el 2015, pues frecuentaba junto a su familia el restaurant donde yo ejercía la labor de mesonero o mesero como le digan en tu región, y yo le atendía con cierta frecuencia tanto a él como a su familia y con el tiempo se creó cierta familiaridad, él se enteró de que yo estudiaba en ese momento filosofía y conversábamos de diversos temas, además él es una persona muy curiosa y estudiada, con un sentido crítico de la realidad que admiro.
Recientemente hemos coincidido un par de veces en parque de la ciudad y hemos conversado un poco, en una oportunidad me pregunta “¿Qué estás trabajando?” y mi respuesta fue: “trabajo con una blockchain llamada Hive, con criptomonedas” fue una respuesta muy breve en realidad, ya que no deseaba quitarle mucho tiempo, estaba de paseo con su familia, pero antes de despedirnos el me responde: “qué bueno estés en esa movida, eso es el futuro.” Y nos despedimos.
The vice president of the chamber of commerce, Simon Salas is a person I have known for years, if I am not mistaken since 2015, because he frequented with his family the restaurant where I worked as a waiter or waiter as they say in your region, and I attended with some frequency both him and his family and over time a certain familiarity was created, he learned that I was studying philosophy at that time and we talked about various topics, he is also a very curious and studied person, with a critical sense of reality that I admire.
Recently we have met a couple of times in a city park and we have talked a little, in one occasion he asked me "What are you working on? " and my answer was: "I work with a blockchain called Hive, with cryptocurrencies " it was a very short answer actually, as I did not want to take much time, he was out with his family, but before saying goodbye he answered me: "good thing you are in that move, that is the future". And we said goodbye.
Hace unas semanas, por todo lo que la #ExpoTecnoDigital nos hizo investigar, me enteré por RRSS que Simón era vicepresidente de la cámara de comercio, y que esta institución está en búsqueda de herramientas y plataformas para la digitalización de los negocios, comercios y diversos sectores que integran lo que la cámara de comercio representa. En el mundo está cambiando la manera de hacer negocios, y Venezuela no se puede crear atrás, es esta una de las razones por las que se realizó el evento de la ExpoTecnoDigital, y donde Hive tuvo un papel protagónico.
Luego de todo esto, me atreví a escribirle a Simón porque deseaba hablarle de Hive, y pues le comenté para tomarnos un café y la respuesta que recibí cambió todo mi panorama en el mejor sentido de la palabra. Simón me responde comentándome que pasara por la cámara de comercio a las 4pm, ya que estaría presente la presidente de la junta directiva. Como no quería que esto fuese algo individual, le comenté al equipo, es por ello que fuimos José, Yonnathan y mi persona.
A modo de conclusión, el trabajo que hicimos en la expotecnodigital ha abierto muchas puertas. Fue uno de los dos factores que ha permitido esta reunión, el otro factor ha sido el atrevimiento de mi parte por la amistad con Simón y comunicarle sobre Hive. Esto me hizo pensar en la importancia de las relaciones humanas, relaciones que lo digital parece diluir, aunque, no ocurre de ese modo en Hive, es por eso que la comunidad es el principal activo de Hive. Crear buenas relaciones es imperativo, no sabemos con qué personas nos topemos hoy y que en un futuro quizá puedan ser aliados poderosos en proyectos realmente trascendentes.
A few weeks ago, for all that the #ExpoTecnoDigital made us investigate, I learned through RRSS that Simon was vice president of the chamber of commerce, and that this institution is in search of tools and platforms for the digitization of business, commerce and various sectors that integrate what the chamber of commerce represents. The world is changing the way of doing business, and Venezuela can not be created behind, this is one of the reasons why the ExpoTecnoDigital event was held, and where Hive had a leading role.
After all this, I dared to write to Simon because I wanted to talk to him about Hive, and then I told him to have a coffee and the answer I received changed my whole outlook in the best sense of the word. Simon wrote me back telling me to stop by the chamber of commerce at 4pm, since the president of the board of directors would be present. As I did not want this to be an individual thing, I told the team, that is why José, Yonnathan and myself went.
In conclusion, the work we did at expotecnodigital has opened many doors. It was one of the two factors that has allowed this meeting, the other factor has been the audacity on my part because of my friendship with Simon and tell him about Hive. This made me think about the importance of human relationships, relationships that the digital seems to dilute, although, it does not happen that way in Hive, that is why the community is the main asset of Hive. Creating good relationships is imperative, we don't know what people we will meet today and that in the future they may be powerful allies in truly transcendent projects.
Hace años, cuando era mesonero en aquel establecimiento jamás hubiese imaginado que uno de los clientes que atendía y con quien pude entablar conversaciones de valor en diferentes temas, se convertiría en un aliado en nuestro deseo de comunicar Hive a todo el mundo.
Creo que este es el mensaje final de mi escrito, no tengamos miedo y hablemos de Hive a todos, no sabes quien pueda convertirse en un aliado poderoso en esta construcción de futuro, si realmente crees en Hive, no tengas miedo, Hive es el futuro y el futuro se construye hoy.
Years ago, when I was a waiter in that establishment I would have never imagined that one of the customers I served and with whom I could engage in valuable conversations on different topics, would become an ally in our desire to communicate Hive to everyone.
I think this is the final message of my writing, let's not be afraid and let's talk about Hive to everyone, you do not know who can become a powerful ally in this construction of the future, if you really believe in Hive, do not be afraid, Hive is the future and the future is built today.
