Dicen que el que quiere, puede. Y queriendo fue que pude realizar esta actividad en compañía de Hivers que trabajan mucho por esta blockchain y qué gustosos aceptaron la invitación.

Les cuento que no recuerdo cuál fue la razón inicial, pero sé que en alguna conversación con los amigos de @hivecreators, les comenté que uno de los planes del próximo año fue activar Hive Valencia, y la respuesta fue: ¡Organiza un Hive Creators Coffee en Valencia! Esto me tomó por sorpresa, porque no suelo organizar las cosas de un momento a otro, pero precisamente ese día estaba con @jauregui98 y en cuestión de minutos decidimos arbitrariamente la fecha, y digo así por qué sinceramente (y pido disculpas por esto) pero la realidad es que no había mucho tiempo para hacer una convocatoria de todos los Hivers. Así que la idea inicial fue una pequeña reunión en un café y que la primera publicación fuera, además de la invitación, la convocatoria para reunirnos vía online, al menos para decidir el lugar para reunirnos.

Un día después de decidido, salió la invitación oficial y fue como empezó el Hive Creators Christmas, que coincidió con la actividad de los @hiversbqto, a la cual también asistí. Así que el concepto cambió y empezamos a buscar que hacer, y todo al final se resumió a Cena Navideña o Pizza. Todo se hizo de manera autofinanciada, hicimos un post colocando como beneficiario a @hivevalencia para qué la cuenta que recibiera las recompensas fuera única y no se mezclara con las finanzas de algún otro Hiver. Quedamos con que @hivecreators nos enviaría un apoyo para los stickers navideños. La fecha pautada fue el pasado 17/12 y el sitio escogido fue @mendrugocafe quienes nos esperaban gustosos para celebrar una cena para 12.

Llegó el día y aunque no lo crean, aún no tenía los stickers diseñados por @grisvisa impresos, pero @lisfabian nos hizo el gran favor de coordinar con su hija, quien tiene una empresa que hace todo este tipo de material POP y pudo tenerlos listos a mediodía. Me tocó empezar a cortar stickers con solo horas antes de la hora decidida. Además, tenía unos regalitos extra para darles a los Hivers, como unas pulseras que quedaron de la CBW dentro de las bolsitas, además, les agregué los stickers, una chupeta y unos bombones rellenos de frutas que estaban deliciosos, así nuestros queridos Hivers se iban con su cotillón de regreso.

De todo pasó cuando me acercaba a la hora del encuentro, por fortuna, llegamos a tiempo y aún no se habían acercado muchos de los Hivers. Conmigo se unieron mi papá, @hiramdo, que ya no se pierde ningún evento de Hive en la ciudad. Además, me acompañaron @iritere y @alejandroloreto. Estuve esperando a Jau hasta última hora, pero por problemas de salud no pudo unirse a nosotros, pero le guardé su regalito. Cuando llegamos al sitio ya estaban algunos Hivers, y mientras pasabamos la jornada esperando a los demás, íbamos lanzando ideas de las cosas que podríamos hacer el año que viene.

Cuando llegaron el resto de los Hivers, decidimos ordenar, el sitio ofrecía pizza, así que todos nos decidimos por una. Estaban bastante buenas a pesar de la forma. Yo me pedí una clásica de peperoni porque nunca defrauda y no podía faltar mi cervecita, así que hice mi noche gracias a esta maravillosa combinación.

Pasamos unas horas fabulosas, un par de semanas de antelación nos acercaron a esta modesta reunión en la que decidimos empezar a trabajar dentro de esta gran ciudad, de este gran estado que necesita saber más de Hive. Son 2700000 repartidos en un estado que está todo conectado, unido en una gran metrópoli, en dónde hay muchos profesionales del mundo tech que podrían aportar a nuestro ecosistema con sus conocimientos. Además, contamos con Hivers que forman activamente parte de nuestra plataforma, siendo moderadores y líderes de comunidades con los que podemos hacer muchas más cosas magníficas. Todo esto estuvo puesto sobre la mesa y ya solo quedan agendar nuevas reuniones.

I do not remember what was the initial reason, but I know that in a conversation with the friends of @hivecreators, I told them that one of the plans for next year was to activate Hive Valencia, and the answer was: Organize a Hive Creators Coffee in Valencia! This took me by surprise, because I don't usually organize things from one moment to another, but precisely that day I was with @jauregui98 and in a matter of minutes we arbitrarily decided the date, and I say so because sincerely (and I apologize for this) but the reality is that there was not much time to make a call for all the Hivers. So the initial idea was a small meeting in a cafe and that the first publication was, in addition to the invitation, the call to meet via online, at least to decide the place to meet.

A day after it was decided, the official invitation went out and that's how the Hive Creators Christmas started, which coincided with the @hiversbqto activity, which I also attended. So the concept changed and we started looking for what to do, and everything in the end came down to Christmas Dinner or Pizza. Everything was done in a self-funded way, we made a post placing @hivevalencia as beneficiary so that the account that received the rewards was unique and not mixed with the finances of some other Hiver. We agreed that @hivecreators would send us a support for the Christmas stickers. The date was last 12/17 and the place chosen was @mendrugocafe who were gladly waiting for us to celebrate a dinner for 12.

The day arrived and believe it or not, I still didn't have the stickers designed by @grisvisa printed, but @lisfabian did us the great favor of coordinating with her daughter, who has a company that makes all this kind of POP material and could have them ready by noon. I had to start cutting out stickers just hours before the scheduled time. Besides, I had some extra gifts to give to the Hivers, like some bracelets that were left over from the CBW inside the bags, I also added the stickers, a lollipop and some fruit filled chocolates that were delicious, so our dear Hivers were leaving with their cotillion on their way back.

Everything happened as I was approaching the meeting time, fortunately, we were on time and not many of the Hivers had yet approached. Joining me was my dad, @hiramdo, who never misses a Hive event in the city. I was also joined by @iritere and @alejandroloreto. I was waiting for Jau until the last minute, but due to health problems he couldn't join us, but I saved his little present for him. When we got to the site some Hivers were already there, and while we spent the day waiting for the others, we were throwing out ideas of things we could do next year.

When the rest of the Hivers arrived, we decided to order, the place offered pizza, so we all decided on one. They were pretty good despite the shape. I ordered a classic pepperoni because it never disappoints and I couldn't miss my beer, so I made my night thanks to this wonderful combination.

We spent some fabulous hours, a couple of weeks in advance brought us closer to this modest meeting where we decided to start working inside this great city, this great state that needs to know more about Hive. There are 2700000 spread in a state that is all connected, united in a great metropolis, where there are many professionals in the tech world that could contribute to our ecosystem with their knowledge. In addition, we have Hivers who are actively part of our platform, being moderators and community leaders with whom we can do many more great things. All of this was put on the table and all that's left is to schedule new meetings.
