Greetings to everyone in the Top Family community! Today I'm joining over here to participate in the TBT Thursday contest. I'll be leaving the contest link at the bottom of the post for anyone who wants to join in. So, let's get started with it.
It was the year 2018 or so, when things in Venezuela were not very good, but day by day one made the effort to be able to cope with all the circumstances that came our way. In one of those moments, when my friend Estefani and Paola were still living in the country, we decided to plan a trip to Chichiriviche since my friend Estefani's partner had a brother who had a little house in that area (he had left the country because of everything that was happening) and had offered him the place to spend a weekend. Traveling was a luxury, but having a place to stay cushioned the expense and after so much thought, we soon made all the arrangements to make the trip. With a lot of effort and what we had gathered together, we left for a trip on a Friday.

Era el año 2018 aproximadamente, cuando las cosas en Venezuela no estaban muy bien, pero día a día uno hacia el esfuerzo para poder sobrellevar todas las circunstancias que se nos cruzaban por delante. En uno de esos momentos, cuando mi amiga Estefani y Paola aún vivían en el país, decidimos planificar un viaje para Chichiriviche ya que la pareja de mi amiga Estefani tenía un hermano que tenía una casita en esa zona (él se había ido del país por todo lo que estaba pasando) y le había ofrecido el lugar para poder pasar un fin de semana. Viajar era un lujo, pero contar con un lugar dónde hospedarse amortiguaba el gasto y después de tanto pensarlo, pronto hicimos todos los preparativos para hacer ese viaje. Con mucho esfuerzo y lo que habíamos reunido entre todos, nos fuimos de viaje un día viernes.
I remember we were very happy on the bus, sharing a lot of laughter and joy. We had never made a trip like this before, so it was exciting to be able to do it. When we arrived we fixed up the little house, since no one had lived there for a long time, so after an afternoon of conditioning the place, everything was ready. That night we went to the boardwalk and saw the beach at night. The next day we finally got dressed to go out to the beach and near where we were, we stopped to take some pictures. From that moment we took this picture with my friend Estefani and Paola. That weekend was very beautiful and unforgettable, we enjoyed as much as we could the beach, the games and so on. It will be 6 years since they left for another country and I miss them a lot. I hope to be able to be reunited with them at some point. Without further ado, thank you very much for stopping by.
Recuerdo que íbamos muy felices en el bus, compartiendo muchas risas y alegrías. Nosotros nunca antes habíamos hecho un viaje así, por lo que era emocionante poder hacerlo. Al llegar al lugar arreglamos la casita, puesto que ahí no vivía nadie desde hace mucho tiempo, por lo que luego de una tarde acondicionado el lugar, quedó todo listo. Esa noche fuimos al malecón y vimos la playa en la noche. Al día siguiente por fin nos vestimos para salir a la playa y cerca de donde estábamos, nos paramos a tomar unas fotografías. De ese momento quedó esta fotografía junto a mi amiga Estefani y Paola. Ese fin de semana fue muy bello e inolvidable, disfrutamos cuánto pudimos de la playa, de los juegos y demás. Ya van a cumplir 6 años desde que ellas se fueron a otro país y las extraño muchísimo. Espero poder reunirme con ellas en algún momento. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
