Hello to everyone in the TopFiveFamily community! Today I'm joining today to share with you a new image in this TBT Thursday. This time I chose an image from the year 2022, approximately, when I was starting my stage of loving makeup here on the Hive platform. So let's get on with it.
When I started on Hive I remember I did it by posting some videos where I sang some songs that I liked quite a lot and which I sang relatively well. That decision was motivated by my partner (video editing at 3Speak), who insisted that he liked my voice and that I could get some good fruit on the platform. So we did. To my surprise, the first publications were quite successful (I had good votes and several people came up to congratulate me), which filled me with a lot of happiness. I was also proud of the mutual work we were doing. So every chance I got, I came back with new songs (about three songs a week minimum) and that eventually became my day job; practicing songs, researching songs, recording the song and the video, editing the voice/track/video, etc.
¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de TopFiveFamily! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva imágen en este jueves de TBT. En esta oportunidad elegí una imágen del año 2022, aproximadamente, cuando comenzaba mi etapa de amar el maquillaje aquí en la plataforma de Hive. Así que vamos con ello.
Cuando comencé en Hive recuerdo que lo hice publicando algunos videos dónde cantaba algunas canciones que me gustaban bastante y las cuales, cantaba relativamente bien. Esa decisión estuvo motivada por mi pareja (montar videos en 3Speak), quién insistía en que le gustaba mi voz y que yo podría obtener algunos buenos frutos en la plataforma. Así hicimos. Para mi sorpresa, las primeras publicaciones fueron bastante exitosas (tenía buenos votos y varias personas se acercaron a felicitarme), lo cual me lleno de mucha felicidad. También orgullo por ese trabajo mutuo que hacíamos. Así que cada que podía, volvía con canciones nuevas (unas tres canciones mínimo por semana) y eso eventualmente pasó a ser mi trabajo del día a día; practicar canciones, buscar canciones, grabar la canción y el video, editar la voz/pista/video, etc.
However, while that content was appropriate and I was doing well, I was also motivated by other niches. Because to be honest, it wasn't always possible to produce enough songs to publish on a daily basis. It's a demanding and somewhat limited task (I'm not a songwriter, just a performer). So I started to work in other communities that caught my attention and one of them was the make-up community. I knew the basics of make-up, so even though I wasn't an expert, I liked to try new make-up from time to time. The image you see above is a reproduction I made of a make-up I saw of a model dressed under the concept of "Spring". I liked it because the lips were painted in such a way that they looked like petals and the eyes looked full of life with those red and green tones. I wanted to prove myself.
I remember that I had finished all my work early that day (I was finishing university and finally had some time), so at 3:00 pm I started to get ready. I applied the foundation and started with the colours of that palette: greens, reds and pinks. Everything was going very well until at one point the electricity went out in my city. As I already had a big part of the work done, I decided to finish it as fast as possible. So after about 2 or 3 hours of work, I was done. To my chagrin the night was coming and the pictures I wanted of this make-up were not possible. It was too dark. However with a torch and camera in the other hand, I was able to take some pictures which although not very good, fulfilled the purpose of recording the moment. This is the anecdote behind this image, without further ado, thank you very much for stopping by.
Sin embargo, aunque ese contenido era apropiado y me iba bien, también me veía motivada por otros nichos. Porque siendo sinceros, no siempre se podían sacar tantas canciones cómo para publicar diariamente. Es una labor exigente y en cierta forma, limitada (no soy compositora, solo interprete). Así que comencé a trabajar en otras comunidades que llamaban mi atención y una de ellas fueron las dedicadas al maquillaje. Yo sabía lo esencial del maquillaje por lo que aún sin ser una experta, me gustaba de ves en cuando probar con un nuevo maquillaje. En la imágen que ven arriba, pertenece a una reproducción que hice de un maquillaje que ví de una modelo que vestía bajo el concepto de "Primavera". A mí me gustó porque los labios estaban pintados de tal manera que parecían pétalos y los ojos se veían llenos de vida con esas tonalidades rojas y verdes. Quería probarme a mí misma.
Recuerdo que ese día había terminado todas mis labores temprano (estaba terminando la universidad y por fin tenía algo de tiempo), por lo que a las 3:00 pm comencé a prepararme. Coloque las bases del maquillaje e inicie con los colores de esa paleta: verdes, rojos y rosas. Todo iba muy bien hasta que en un punto dado se fue la electricidad en mi ciudad. Cómo ya tenía una gran parte del trabajo realizado, decidí culminarlo lo más rápido posible. Es así cómo luego de unas 2 horas o 3 horas en ello, acabé. Para mi disgusto la noche estaba llegando y las fotografías que quería de este maquillaje no fueron posibles. Estaba muy oscuro. Sin embargo con una linterna y la cámara en la otra mano, pude tomar algunas fotografías que aunque no eran muy buenas, cumplían con el objetivo de registrar el momento. Esta es la anécdota detrás de esta imagen, sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
