Los Santuarios tienen disímiles de significados según su objeto, pero cuando vi esta imagen enseguida me sentí en uno de los laterales del Santuario del Cobre.
El Santuario es un lugar sagrado donde se le brinda veneración a ídolos, objetos, reliquias y hasta se le ofrecen promesas que luego se pagan con ofrendas.
En este tipo de Santuario se albergan paisajes y arquitecturas que lo hacen únicos y especiales, por lo que la misma sociedad los cuida y los protege por su importancia y fragilidad de arraigo.
El Santuario del Cobre como muchos Santuarios que conozco tienen en su mayoría características muy parecidas en su arquitectura, las torres, un reloj, la cruz a lo alto, la pintura y sus alrededores se mantienen en total sobriedad.
Les cuento del Santuario del Cobre, esta situado por fortuna en mi natal ciudad de Santiago de Cuba, en el Cerro de Maboa, aproximadamente a 27 kilómetros del Cobre.
Es un lugar para manifestarse religiosamente, que toma su nombre por la cercanía con un yacimiento de Cobre existente, fue creado desde 1926, hoy 2024 cuenta con 98 años.
Como Santuario, aquí se venera a la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre o Patrona de Cuba, como la llamamos la mayoría de los cubanos, proclamada así por el Papa BenedictoXV en el año 1916.
Cada ciudad de Cuba tiene uno o más Santuarios, pertenece a nuestra cultura e idiosincrasia, unos son católicos, cristianos u otro, más que todo una mezcla de culturas, representadas por su arquitectura, sus orígenes y creencias.

Shrines have different meanings depending on their object, but when I saw this image I immediately felt on one of the sides of the Copper Shrine.
The Sanctuary is a sacred place where idols, objects, relics are venerated and even promises are offered to him that are then paid for with offerings.
In this type of Sanctuary landscapes and architectures are housed that make it unique and special, so the same society cares for and protects them because of their importance and fragility of rooting.
The Copper Shrine like many Shrines I know have mostly very similar characteristics in their architecture, the towers, a clock, the cross at the top, the painting and its surroundings are kept in total sobriety.
I tell you about the Copper Sanctuary, it is located fortunately in my native city of Santiago de Cuba, on the Cerro de Maboa, approximately 27 kilometers from the Copper.
