The song I performed in the video is "Como la cigarra" by María Elena Walsh. It is one of my favorite songs, especially when performed by Mercedes Sosa".

I have only a few years playing guitar, I started when I was very young. I was about thirteen years old when I marked my first chords: Em - Am - Dm. Three minor chords, the three scorned chords with which my dad used to musicalize family parties and birthdays, singing delirious rancheras with his voice and his out-of-tune guitar. Nine years later I would dedicate myself to really learn to play, inspired by the love that came into my life.

Music is like love, it comes to you when it's meant to. When I was thirteen years old, music and I played hide and seek and it took me nine years to find it, music knows no time. The first song I played in its entirety was a song by Victor Heredia, I had an Am and also an Em, it was the music that found me, not me it.

I have walked through the music of the streets, the one born from the pains of the people. Music has the face of poor and forgotten people, my own face, that of my people. Music weaves networks, I have met so many people when I hold my guitar, that I have lost count of the smiles and tears, of the hugs and the outstretched hands, of the goodbyes and the reunions.

Music also has memory, I have not been able to forget the places where I have played, nor the people with whom I have shared. What is least forgotten are the emotions, I do not forget the first gig, in the public library of Queniquea, the little village faldoso, cold and ugly, where I dressed up as an artist for the first time, my favorite costume.

And seven years have passed between each performance. I am not a sophisticated musician, nor do I have the prodigious ear I wish I had. But music is like love, it comes when it has to come; and sometimes it stays. Since the sad rancheras and my father's off-key voice some six lifetimes have passed, but music has not stopped accompanying me. Music knows no limits.

it was the music that found me, not me it.

How nicely said! Does music find us? Do our musical instruments find us? Could be true, now when you say it :)
