STOP PROCRASTINATING AND ACT NOW FOR TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE

When you feel as though you still have time and you listen to this song, you will realize that time waits for no one. Simi uses the song, "Selense" to remind us that time is money and we should not always think that it will wait for us. We might keep procrastinating and everything we wanted to do will come to naught because time moved swiftly, leaving us behind without permission.

In this song, Simi lists a good deal of people who have different things doing or what they want to do but keep finding excuses to not do anything. For instance, she calls out, Lola, who is an Entrepreneur but sleeps a lot instead of working on her business. She also calls out, Chima, who owns a shopping complex but rarely opens his shop, and that is because he has hangovers every day as a result of partying hard every night.

There is another person Simi mentioned, and that is Sherifa, who is 21 years and carries herself around as a forever young lady, and Simi says she doesn’t do the things she plans to do and before one realizes it, Sherifa will be 30 years old with nothing meaningful to show for it.

All of the people she used, as an illustration, have some of us in there, we start businesses, but keep procrastinating over doing the needful to grow our businesses because we feel we still have time, we sleep, party, and wait for the perfect for everything.

We fail to realize that as time passes, so do opportunities, and as we keep procrastinating, the less time left for us to accomplish our dreams or goals.

Time is really special and it is a gift that we should utilize and use well. We should not keep waiting and telling ourselves that we will do this or that tomorrow. We need to start today and mirror them into tomorrow. Time won’t stop or pause for us, and no one is asking us not to sleep or party, or be hopeful. We should only know when to draw the line and keep our non-productive ventures in check.

Every time I listen to this song, I try to check if there is any area of my life where I am procrastinating and make the mental note to stop and start doing something. One of them is my Hive blog, this time, I am back for good, and I won’t procrastinate anymore over writing content for my follower’s feed, the various communities I have subscribed to, and the rest of the audience who will be checking me out in the days to come. Nor will I procrastinate over engaging or doing all that it takes to build my account.

You should check this song out, you will not only be inspired to use time wisely, but you will also love Simi's voice, and move your body around your house as you listen. Simi is good with her songs, and this is one of my favorites and so I decided to share with and the lessons that rings in my head every time it plays.

believe that time is intrinsically linked to how each individual conceives his or her goals. I am not so much a supporter of that anxious tendency that insists on being in a constant need to hurry because time "seems" to be passing and leaving us all behind.... That said, I understand and appreciate what you say in your post, my friend, @atomz
