Let's take a moment to reflect on our lives. Time is too ephemeral to live each day in oblivion of the reality of what lies ahead of us and this is exactly what this song sang by a favourite artist of mine, (suriel hess) explores.
The song is "parts of you" by suriel Hess.
The song is all about a girl hiding her feelings, leaving the protagonist wondering if the girl is really into him or not. He remains confused, waiting for a definite response... meanwhile, the clock Keeps ticking. He goes ahead to say "maybe there's parts of you I'll never get to know." Of course, people will never know some parts of us, they'll never know our thoughts, ideas, and perception about them if we always keep concealing them in our minds and hearts.
People have exited the surface of this life with a lot of feelings locked within their hearts. Why not just let them all out so we don't get slowly eaten up by them. Love, anger, happiness — let them all out! If there's something I've learnt in life: Always feel free to express yourself. In the real sense, no one really knows what you think of them, unless you let it out.
You disliked what your friend did? Why not tell him/her to his face rather than piling it up in your already devastated heart. You have emotions for someone? Come on! Let it all out, express it.
Free your mind of the little things that shouldn't be in there for too long. Time wouldn't wait for you to let it all out that's prolly why Suriel said "We act like we ageless. I don't wanna waste this."
Least we forget, every blessed day draws us nearer to the everlasting grip of the grave, the unknown world of void and darkness, a world of uncertainty. A world scientists would never be able to explore, a world where all our emotions wouldn't matter anymore.
They are parts of us that are hidden from eyes of our loved ones, our friends, our families, and the universe... let's overtly display those parts of us because being real is gold and self-relieving. Hiding our true selves and concealing our emotions only places us at a point of insecurity. Have you seen a free man? Nothing bothers him because he lets go who he is, he accepts that: hey, I'm that guy, and yeah this is me. And the truth is... no one's gonna do a thing about it, rather, they come to terms with who are you and this helps create a better understanding and bonding.
Listen to the song above, over and over. Get to the depth of lyrics; beyond the piano, guitar, and magical wonders of the musical instruments, and into its meaning... for therein lies the message and truth about our stay in this inexplicable shallow Earth of ours.
The truth remains the truth. I can wholly relate to the meaning behind this song. It speaks to me, to you and to everyone who submits their ears to its enchanting lyrics.
