I once lived in a community of people who were mostly business oriented. I was pretty much amazed at the amount a friend of mine makes each day before nightfall. There is a certain girl who lives in the area, my friend told me that the girl has a male child who the girl sometimes leaves indoors before leaving wherever she goes. Not everybody is happy with the lady because most times when her baby wakes up, he will be crying for attention but it will happen that the door is locked.
The young woman doesn't seem to care much which makes me wonder about the type of life she lives and where she usually leaves her baby to go. In some parts of Africa there seems to be no rules though rules were put in place.
On a Sunday, my friend decided to rest since it is the only day he has to stay at home and also the day that most people go to church and businesses doesn't seem to go so well. My friend was in the sitting room watching a movie when I suddenly came to my mind to ask him. So I asked him about the lady who seems to be one of the major causes of noise in the area. He told me that the story behind the girl is complicated which made me become more curious to know why.
He said the girl had left her family and eloped with a guy who happened to be living in the apartment where the girl is currently living.
They were living like good husband and wife till the lady became pregnant. That was when their quarreling began which mostly occurs late at night whenever the guy comes back from work.
One day the guy left and never came back and it has been so long now. The girl had gone back home to meet her family but her family told her to return to wherever she's coming from and since then she came back and became a new person.
It seems as though she is shifting all the anger and hatred he now has for the guy on her little baby because the way she treats her baby is as though she is not the one who gave birth to him.
The short story of the girl was really not one I expected because the girl dresses like a street girl, like a hooker or prostitute only those who knew her very well knew her story. As for me the way she dresses seems to be the way anyone who seems to attract any guy would do.
This story reminds me of the young lady whose mother has engaged many of her friends and even the teachers to look after her young girl for her by monitoring her movements and the people she associates with. The woman was seriously determined to give her only female children the best of everything she has but her child seems to be after the little gifts she receives from guys on the road and even in her school. There are times when rumors came that an eye witness has seen the girl and some boys in school having carnal knowledge of each other.
A lot of efforts were really put in place but yet the young woman ended up becoming pregnant. From this I got the knowledge that whoever wants to live a certain kind of life may not be stopped no matter the effort because within them they've already made a choice on the way they choose to live.

If human beings were robots, it would have been easier to control them and make them subject to the assigned role or task but to control humans is not easy. In most cases, our choice is always different from the choice of someone else close to us even if related by blood. Just as people's faces are different, the choices of each person differs from each other too and in most cases, the choices which some children of these days make turns out to be their parents' worst nightmare. They're are people who usually say that it is easier to train a male child than to train a female child and this all keeps me wondering.
Some according to their years of observation has said that women are always more focused than men especially when it comes to accomplishing a task and I feel if that is the case then it should be one of the reasons why those who chose the wrong path seriously makes their way out to have a taste of that because women are more curious to have a taste of something new. Not all women misbehave but I feel there is a need for early education on different aspects of life which is to be given to both male and female children alike so that they will know the different consequences of each step and action taken towards the good and bad sides of life.
