💓 Hello music-inspired friends! 💓
I hope everyone is doing great ♡
I've been wanting to make recommendations or talk a little bit about the music I like and hear for a long time, and researching in music communities, I found this one and what a great one! So this is my first post 😊
💙 Irepelusa 💙
I like many different genres of music, especially when they merge. In this case I wanted to talk about the music that calms me down, that I listen to when I'm embroidering, doing crafts, spending some quiet time at home resting...It's also very useful when I'm cycling long distances or working and I have a bad temper haha(which happens very often)I listen to it with headphones and it helps me to relax and calm my mood almost immediately :)
💙 Motherflowers 💙
I'll tell you a little about Irepelusa, a Venezuelan artist who has a very sweet voice in my opinion, and in musical technique can reach very high and polished tones without losing her beautiful voice. I haven't been in Venezuela for many years and I met her recently so I don't know how popular she is. She makes many collaborations with other artists and has also belonged to Motherflowers, a group of 3 people, although I personally like her solo songs more, I think she is more professional and exploits her potential more. I want to recommend 3 songs of Irepelusa that I really like.
hueles a peligro
y yo amo ese perfume
y aunque pienses que estés roto
yo tampoco estoy completa
di mucho me dieron poco
The first one is one that I found recently, it's called "Tan poco". It is a collaboration with Mangus. A lot of Irepelusa's lyrics are about love, even though this one is more on the side of heartbreak, in spite of that, it relaxes me a lot... The voices and the acoustic guitar together are sublime.
¿Quien pudiera?
Ser el sanguchito que tú llevas en la lonchera
El gato que duerme contigo
Pero no hay manera
La mano que posa en tu pierna
Por la carretera
¿Pero quien pudiera?
The second one would be "Quien pudiera" con Cardellino, Cantamarta y Veztalone, another collaboration and where Irepelusa is more of a backing vocalist, but she puts all the vibe to the songs, if I take her part away it's definitely not the same without her voice:') Another love lyric, wishing to be everything for that special person is much more optimistic and makes me feel floating on a cloud ♡
Cayó la noche, la noche oscura
Hay aguardiente y polvo de luna
Mucho cuia'o con la captura, los tombos y tula
Mejor duérmase mi niño que atuna-atuna
The last one is "Lluvia", the remix version. In the company of Veztalone and Cantamarta, with this song they exploit a lot of Venezuelan culture, especially from the plains. In one part they name Juan Hilario, who according to legends is a name that was cursed and that is why he became "El Silbón", a soul in pain that scares the Venezuelan plains at night, in fact it sounds like a whistle that makes your skin crawl, but not in a bad way, they also name Jose Gregorio, plaza Venezuela, cayo pantaleta haha, in short, many Venezuelan references. I also listened to this song recently and I like it a lot, it's a very calm and relaxing sound, like the 2 previous ones.
It also has songs a bit more upbeat, like "Olé" and "Rayos, besos, fallos".
And well guys, I would like to know if you know this artist? I'm quite curious how well known she is, I think she is very good and seems to have fun with music. I will surely continue to bring you recommendations of different genres, I hope nice feedback and that this recommendation works for u to put u of good mood 💙 💞 Hugs, kisses, drink water and brush your teeth! 💞
