Today I want to share my exclusive premiere in the @Q-Inspired community with an initiative that inspired my musical muse promoted by @mipiano where we will explore the experiences with our neighbors around music through the following questions:
Are you a musician or do you have a neighbor who is a musician?
Yes, I am a musician trained in the orchestra system as a Singer, Guitar and Cello player and I have musically inclined neighbors. Across the street is my neighbor Pedro, a church pastor who plays the saxophone, on my street is my friend Alfredo who meets on weekends with other neighbors to rehearse with his Rock band and two blocks away is a very particular neighbor who loves to sing karaoke at the top of his lungs and throw unsolicited "concerts" to the urbanization, as he puts the speakers facing the street.
Does someone in your close family play an instrument?
No, I'm the only one in my immediate family who plays an instrument although I think my mother when she was young made a few attempts at playing guitar 🎸😊.
Is it difficult to listen many times to the practising sessions?
Depends, my Saxophonist neighbor has a good command of the instrument, so it doesn't bother me at all. My friend Alfredo plays on weekends and although he makes noise sometimes, it's not unpleasant and it's usually for only a few hours. However, the neighbor who "forces" us to his concerts so to speak 😂 well...it's not always very pleasant, because although sometimes you can hear his voice in tune, it's not always the rule and he usually sings until very late. Fortunately I'm not that close to that neighbor, but a friend who has a bodegón downstairs from his house suffers when that neighbor intones his singing, as he doesn't find either the style of music or his singing pleasant at all.
Is it nice, do you find joy in that?
Most of the time it has brought me a lot of joy. Rehearsing at home with my friend Hernán on guitar for the Mantralización circle or some Pop recital recharges me with good vibes and I can recognize that it has helped me in difficult moments that I lived through last year, since I focused my mind on the music and on sharing with my friend. The sound of my neighbor's saxophone when waking up in the mornings and even in some other recital he has done in the street, especially in difficult times when the Pandemic began, was more like a balm of relief to our ears. With my neighbor Alfredo has also been nice, especially when they invite me to their rehearsals and I enjoy a little live rock super close to my home, however, the neighbor who puts the speakers at full blast is not always so nice for any of the neighbors I think, however I remember a funny anecdote about him that I will tell you in the next question.
Did you have some funny moments?
As I was telling you, the karaoke neighbor in front of him also sings karaoke and I have seen them several times doing counterpoint each one from their homes, like a karaoke duel and the truth is that I have found it funny hehehehe. Rehearsing with my friend Hernán has always been fun except when we fight hehehe but we are always cracking jokes or laughing about anything silly while we fine tune details in rehearsals. With Alfredo and his Rock band I also have fun when they invite me, we always end up joking and relaxing a bit. In the end that's what these rehearsals are all about, enjoying and having a different time, I just didn't find it fun when I had to work the next day and I couldn't stay too late with them 🤭.
Have someone ever complained to you if you study your musical instrument?
Hey mind you I don't remember that. At the beginning of my cello training, my playing wasn't very nice, but I was so enraptured and excited about the instrument that I wanted to play and play all the time and in general my family was quite permissive with my dissonant sounds on the cello that I was often embarrassed.
Then years later, they opened a shawarma place in the house and I was studying cello many times without receiving any complaints from the neighboring merchants, rather it seemed acceptable or pleasant to them.
Maybe you are not a musician, either have a musician neighbour... but you like to listen to loud music?
The truth is that I don't like to listen to loud music, I find it very noisy, but I have some neighbors who go from rumba to rumba, playing reggaeton, salsa and merengue. On weekends they play the music at its maximum power and well the truth is that if they invited me to their rumbas I wouldn't mind so much 😁.
What was the wildest thing you made in your flat, bothering the neighbours?
Hehe I don't really remember, I think I'm a pretty quiet girl. But once we had a family discussion at my aunt's home and she lives in an apartment and well the neighbors didn't like this very much 🙈.
What is your favorite music you listen to very loudly?
I like to listen to happy music to clean the house hehe, the kind you can dance to and enjoy. Pop music or urban music, Latin although once in a while I throw on some rock or some mantras.
Has someone called the police?
If they ever did with the neighbors I doubt very much that the Police would have done anything about it.
What do your neighbours listen to, and do you like it?
Rock and urban Latin music as well. Every once in a while they throw on some 80's retro that I also enjoy.

Hoy quiero compartir mi estreno exclusivo en la comunidad @Q-Inspired con una iniciativa que inspiró a mi musa músical promovida por @mipiano en donde exploraremos las vivencias con nuestros vecinos en torno a la música a través de las siguientes preguntas:
¿Es usted músico o tiene algún vecino que sea músico?
Si, yo soy músico formada en el sistema de orquestas como Cantante, intérprete de Guitarra y Violoncello y tengo vecinos con inclinaciones musicales. En la calle de enfrente está mi vecino Pedro, un pastor de Iglesia que toca el saxofón, en mi calle está mi amigo Alfredo que se reúne los fines de semana con otros vecinos a ensayar con su banda de Rock y a dos calles está un vecino muy particular que le encanta cantar karaoke a todo pulmón y lanzar "conciertos" no solicitados a la urbanización, ya que pone los altavoces mirando a la calle.
¿Alguien de tu familia cercana toca un instrumento?
No, yo soy la única en mi familia cercana que toca un instrumento aunque creo que mi madre cuando estaba joven hizo unos intentos de tocar guitarra 🎸😊.
¿Es difícil escuchar muchas veces las sesiones de práctica?
Depende, mi vecino Saxofonista tiene un buen dominio del instrumento, así que no me molesta en lo absoluto. Mi amigo Alfredo toca los fines de semana y aunque hace ruido a veces, no es desagradable y suele ser por pocas horas. Sin embargo, el vecino que nos "obliga" a sus conciertos por así decirlo 😂 pues…no es muy agradable siempre, ya que aunque algunas veces se escucha bien afinada su voz, no siempre es la regla y suele cantar hasta muy tarde. Afortunadamente no estoy tan cerca de ese vecino, pero un amigo que tiene un bodegón en la parte de abajo de su casa sufre cuando ese vecino entona su canto, ya que no le parece para nada agradable ni el estilo de música ni su forma de cantar.
¿Es agradable, encuentras alegría en ello?
La mayoría de las veces sí me ha generado mucha alegría. Ensayar en casa con mi amigo Hernán en la guitarra para el círculo de Mantralización o algún recital Pop me recarga de buena vibra y puedo reconocer que me ha ayudado en momentos difíciles que viví el año pasado, ya que centraba mi mente en la música y en el compartir con mi amigo. El sonido del saxofón de mi vecino al despertar en las mañanas e incluso en algún que otro recital que ha hecho en la calle, sobre todo en momentos difíciles en que comenzaba la Pandemia más bien fue como un bálsamo de alivio a nuestros oídos. Con mi vecino Alfredo también ha sido agradable, sobre todo cuando me invitan a sus ensayos y disfruto un poco de rock en vivo super cerquita de mi hogar, sin embargo, el vecino que pone los parlantes a todo dar pues no siempre es tan agradable para ninguno de los vecinos creo yo, sin embargo recuerdo una anécdota sobre él divertida que les contaré en la siguiente pregunta.
¿Has tenido algún momento divertido?
Como les venía contando, el vecino karaokero enfrente de él también canta karaoke y los he visto varias veces haciendo contrapunto cada uno desde sus hogares, como un duelo de karaoke y la verdad eso sí me ha parecido divertido jejeje. Ensayar con mi amigo Hernán siempre ha sido divertido excepto cuando nos peleamos jeje pero siempre estamos echando chistes o riéndonos de cualquier tontería mientras afinamos detalles en los ensayos. Con Alfredo y su grupo de Rock también me suelo divertir cuando me invitan, siempre terminamos bromeando y relajandonos un poco. A la final de eso se trata esos ensayos, de disfrutar y pasar un rato diferente, solo no me parecía divertido cuando tenía que trabajar al otro día y no me podía quedar hasta muy tarde con ellos 🤭.
¿Alguien se ha quejado alguna vez de que estudies tu instrumento musical?
Oye fíjate que no recuerdo eso. Al principio de mi formación en el violoncello, mi interpretación no era muy agradable, pero estaba tan enfiebrada y entusiasmada con el instrumento que quería tocar y tocar todo el tiempo y en general mi familia fue bastante permisiva con mis sonidos disonantes en el cello que muchas veces me avergonzaban.
Luego años después, abrieron un local de shawarma en la casa y estuve estudiando cello muchas veces sin recibir ninguna queja de los vecinos comerciantes, más bien parecía aceptable o agradable para ellos.
¿No eres músico, o tienes un vecino músico... pero te gusta escuchar música a todo volumen?
La verdad no me gusta escuchar música a todo volumen, me parece muy estruendosa, pero tengo unos vecinitos que se la pasan de rumba en rumba, poniendo reguetón, salsa y merengue. Los fines de semana ponen la música en su máximo poder y bueno la verdad si me invitaran a sus rumbas no me molestaría tanto 😁.
¿Cuál ha sido la cosa más salvaje que has hecho en tu piso, molestando a los vecinos?
Jeje la verdad no lo recuerdo, creo que soy una chica bastante tranquila. Pero si una vez tuvimos una discusión familiar en casa de mi Tia y ella vive en un apartamento y pues bueno a los vecinos no les agrado mucho 🙈.
¿Cuál es tu música favorita que escuchas muy fuerte?
Me gusta escuchar música alegre para limpiar la casa jeje, de esa que puedes bailar y disfrutar. Música Pop o música urbana, latina aunque de vez en cuando me lanzó un rock o unos mantras.
¿Ha llamado alguien a la policía?
Si lo hicieron alguna vez con los vecinos dudo mucho que la Policía hubiera hecho algo al respecto.
¿Qué escuchan tus vecinos y te gusta?
Rock y música latina urbana también. De vez en cuando se lanzan unas retro de los 80 que también disfruto.
