WALKING ON SUNSHINE

Weekend use to be the most busyest day in my compound well of cause it should be because that's they only time most people don't go to work children are at home running around and doing their weekend house duties father's most time goes to work very late young guys with their loud music always contributes to the noisy environment morning hour is always very busy everyone has one thing or the other they are doing of cause almost everyone in the compound have either clothes to wash plates and back of pots to wash house clean up compound survey and clean up it's always a busy morning I remember those days as a children or should I say teenagers we normally use that opportunity to challenge our selves based on who will finish the house chores on time as a teenager I was always a part of the competition yeah it's fun and also helps finish up your work on time without feeling the stress the most fun part used to be the part where after everyone must have finish their house chores we all gather at the center of the compound with our bathing buckets both boys and girls we sing and dance slashing water on ourselves we are sure to waste a full drum of water in the name of bathing but we're definitely going to refill every gallon that the water came from and then after everything we entered into one of our neighbors house who won't be coming to work that day and spend the rest of our day either watching movies playing cards or our usual hide and seek game until the evening when our parents comes back and the compound becomes busy again
Having this flash back makes me smile and wish to revise the hands of clock to the days of fun fill childhood but no no it's forward ever like they say

But this days doing all my weekend house chores and duties use to be very tiring and boring because there's no motivation again for that even teenagers of these days no dey get time for weekend house chores again not to talk of competition or house chores challenge talkless of have fun bath outside the compound woohh the days one day my 3 year old niece asked me to close my eyes that she wants to remove her pants I shock hahaha woohh I was like see this small one of yesterday oooo 😂 They only thing we now hear every weekend morning is the shouting of parents especially mothers they will literally scream their voice out just for one kid to go wash the plates mennn
In the midst of the noise a radio FM was silently playing this Katrina's song I think the man playing the song was also disturbed by the noise cause he increased the volume of the radio and just like that I found myself nodding to the song and also getting distracted by the happenings around but then the radio did their normal wave interruption and the song went off ohh no no I grabbed my phone went to my YouTube channel I searched the song and there it was
