Did you miss me?

Or should I ask; did you like the K Beat Squit Experience I served last week?

Remember the theme last week?
Need A Hint?

I loved that show, getting miles away from my comfort zone and having other Korean than K takeout.

If you thought last week was a bit much, wait till you see what I stumbled upon while looking for more tasty K-snacks.

I really did not know that girls like this existed.

Well other than those metal babies that I love:

And then there are some foul guys in that J-Metal scene, oh my sake.

AnyWho, get ready for the most disturbing session since Halloween, if not since ever.

Okay, I promise this is getting disturbing.
Last week was such an inspiration that I actually went on a journey by myself into this crazy J & K Music and look what the Squid dragged it.

DonĀ“t watch if you don't like Octo pussy.

I know that those Japanese are masters in copying and making it better and I guess itĀ“s True. Cradle of Filth eat your heart out!

DEVILOOF - 因ēæ’

Man that tune rocks, the vid is one bomb of craziness.

I mean damn grunting Japanese sounds even worse and that vid is a best of Eastern Horror Compilation.

Makes sense that this visual kei deathcore band has a reputation for being the "fastest and cruelest"

And seems I am not the only one who noticed that;

Of course, I am not gonna slash your speakers the whole show but I do enjoy the Sympho Metal tendencies these Visual Kai guys express.

Although I prefer a bit more Sympho, but that sympho electric combo around 2:30 is dangerously good...

JILUKA - VENĪ¦M

I think I am starting to get this Japanese Avant-garde metal, but lucky me found a little more cute sympho stuff as well.

These next guys, or well girls, or maybe Japanese Sympho Power Metal Dolls. Does sound like Manga on steroids, damn that chorus without understanding s single word.

And we all know adding a violin is always a good thing!

Unlucky Morpheus - M Anthem

Were they my biggest Gem found this week?

Nah, there was so much great stuff, I mean these last guys were cool but what if I could fill another church with a band of Japanese Power Metal Dolls wearing white and singing stuff I actually understand?

LOVEBITES / Glory To The World

Nice, but I prefer that manga metal with the violin, the Japanese audience btw digs them both because their albums do quite well in the Japanese charts.

You could say that they are big in Japan.

Okay, let's do one more church metal song!

This is actually quite cool mixing Japanese and English lyrics, although his English sounds like Korean to me.... A for the Effort

GALNERYUS - ANGEL OF SALVATION

No girls, but the same church indeed. That must be one hell of a church.

The thing is that these bands sometimes felt like they were put together for commercial success, as itĀ“s clear that Japan digs crazy stuff because, Manga Power Death Core Metal with girls in Black and White Spice Girls Outfits.......

Broken By The Screamć€Žć‚³ć‚³ćƒć€ę™“ćƒ¬ę™“ćƒ¬

And then compare that to this...

Yousei Teikoku - Astral Dogma - 妖ē²¾åøåœ‹

It might just be that it gives me this early Therion feel, and that I prefer the Steam Punk outfits, although that last parts I am still discussing internally.

The thing is, itĀ“s hard to see when itĀ“s an act like K-Pop or when these J Metal chicks are rocking for real.

Does it really matter?

No, in the end, it doesnĀ“t really matter. ItĀ“s all about your taste. Talking about in the end, am I the only one who thinks that these guys are the Japanese Linkin Park?

THE ORAL CIGARETTES - DUNK feat.Masato

Hence you might not agree when I say I saved the best for last, but I did!

We have Steam Punk, we have an all-girl band, we have a violin, we have Power Sympho Metal, and yes they are probably created by a studio but if they sound like this...

This Fate feat.NANA - FATE GEAR

Fate Gear has a lot of different musical faces and is not afraid to try something new...and well in my opinion fail like when they tried to be sky pirates.

Still, itĀ“s not that bad, unless you start noticing those lyrics.

But let me make it up to you by sharing this next one, this has it all and blew me away in more ways than one... Let me know in the comments what your Favorite was this week as I think we will have one more session feeding on the lƱeft overs of these last two weeks.

Very interesting. Was Baby Metal the original and then all the other ones came after or are they newer on the scene too? I feel like they have been around for a while now.

They all came to the scene 10-15 years ago, Babymetal for some reason was the only one that got some global traction but they were definitely not the first.

Unlucky Morpheus started in 2008 and Yousei Teikoku is probably the oldest starting out late 90s.

But it was a very interesting Trip indeed

Gotcha. I am listening to the playlist right now. A little heavier than the stuff I usually listen to, but I haven't turned it off yet!

I totally agree it was a bit heavy for me as well, not that I mind but I just do not often go all out like that anymore but it really had some interesting stuff and your question made me do some research and I found some interesting stuff along the way very different gain from this J Metal but definitely worth a listen...well more about that next week-

Looking forward to it!
