In the new city I live called Zulum, there live people of different backgrounds, occupations and ways of life. This is so because, people believe there are better job opportunities in the city.
These job opportunities include: government paid jobs, mining, sewing, teaching and carpentry. The massive development of the city which was once a rural area kicked off with first the establishment of a coal mining factory before other employment opportunities were created. The name "Zulum" has it origin from this course that is too deep for a newbie like me.

In my new city, lives a man named Darak. Darak happened to be in the same compound with me. However, he is a semi-literate, very kind, good and hardworking carpenter but bad tempered. He never mingle with other people especially those ones that don't mind their business but pry into other people's affairs. Mr Darak has one wife, four children and three friends. Due to his nature, he got jobs from people only because of his diligence, honest, competence and ability to finish his jobs on time.

In the same city, lives a proud teacher called Mr Websley. He has two children and a wife, his character annoys all around him and so he has no friends in the neighborhood. Mr Websley believes that he is very well educated than any other and has the best certificates. He is a disciplinarian and always holds a cane in the school. He hardly forgives for any misbehavior.

Mr. Websley, has no real friends due to his pride except parents who also enroll their children in the school where he is the acting head-teacher. Other than that, he was a loner and he is never allowed to attend any meeting that concerned the development of the city.

The annual meeting comes up again and at the end it was decided that new furniture would be made for the school. The diligent carpenter would have to work with the head teacher to actualize the plans of the city development. While, Mr Darak is to do the job. Mr Websley is to oversee and to ensure that Mr Darak gets the needed furniture in the school.
As expected, the grumpy and reclusive carpenter refused to talk with the teacher who he believed is too proud. Mr. Darak, who happened to be my neighbor came home from his office that day crumbling. The teacher also believed he is too educated and good to associate with people of little education. For a long time, the job was not done. Again, a meeting was called one day and all the community chiefs complained about the delay in work. The people decided to call the teacher and carpenter. They were asked to call the teacher and the carpenter. They were asked why they delayed the work given to them. Both of them started complaining about their bad attitudes. The city supervisor, however was very angry with them and obliged them to find a way of getting the job done within a given period of time and if not, other people would be asked to do it. Everyone went home while the carpenter and the teacher remained, staring at each other.

Finally, the teacher admitted his mistakes and apologized. Also, the carpenter realized his grumpy attitude and begged for forgiveness. They shakes hands and ended the fight. They both promised to complete the project before the time.
The required materials were bought and within few days the work was completed. The school now have good furniture's and the students are comfortable.

The carpenter and the teacher became best friends afterwards, changed their attitudes and everyone was happy.
Mr Darak came home happy today and had to call for a compound meeting were he narrated the whole meeting.

Thanks for stopping to read.
Bye!!

Hi @wofaipeace

Sorry, but have you checked the description of what the Q-inspired community is about?

It is writing, connected to music.
Although your post is nice and has a message, it doesn't belong to the topics this community covers. Thank you for understanding.
