I think it is the first time I saw this plant growing in the yard back at home, and I am pretty sure that my parents are not really aware of its existence. But that day since I was with my camera and also the flower were blooming, so i take my chance to take several photos of the beautiful flower that this weed has.
And this is Ludwigia hyssopifolia is a herb that is usually found in waterlogged areas like within drains. The lance-shape leaves are glossy with prominent secondary veins. The yellow flowers are 4-petaled with pointed ends.. After reading it I learn that it has some kind of herbal benefits, like anti-tumor, and antibacterial and anti-diarrhoeal properties. But I also don't think that my parent know of this uses. as it is not a common weed that I see at home.
I also not very sure why, and how this weed ends in my parent yard, but at least I can enjoy the beauty of the flower, and then share with you all also.
And this might be the seed pod, after the pollination happened, once it mature and the seed dispersed, I can expect that there will a lot of this weed be growing on next growing chance.
