Here's another DUO update, we have some great news about dividends and a **new contest **included below!
HP Growth
Right now we're sitting at 10,727 HP! Not bad for our first month!
Everything has been powered up to this point. We'll be staking all Hive-Engine tokens earned through July to create a baseline for curation. Tomorrow is August 1, so after today 90% of all tokens, HBD, etc., will be sold off and paid out as dividends. Only 10% will be staked or powered up in order to grow the project.
Right now, nothing has been delegated to the HOC account while we're still growing the project. We didn't set an exact timeline for this, but we will announce this change once it's effective.
Dividends and Tipping
Just as a reminder, you must stake 200 DUO to receive dividends and be eligible for post curation.
You will see the first dividends starting tomorrow, and as the project grows the dividends will get bigger and well as the curations.
The tipping requirements are as follows:
500 staked tips 0.1 (1x/day)
1k staked tips 0.2 (1x/day)
5k staked tips 0.3 (1x/day)
10k staked tips 0.5 (2x/day)

Right now, DUO is being sold for 1 Hive each. The first tranche sold out quite some time back and we are in the middle of the second. Once it sells out the next tranche of 60,000 DUO will be sold for 1.5 Hive each, so get in early while there's still time!

DUO Outreach Ideas
We're looking for input from all of you on getting word out to more communities on Hive. If any of you have good connections within the various communities on Hive, know of someone else who could help introduce DUO to other communities, etc., please reach out to us! Your word of mouth is one of the best ways for us to grow. The more the project grows and curates, the more all DUO stakers see the rewards from it!
Dividend Celebration Contest!
To celebrate the start of dividends on August 1st, we're holding a contest that will last for the entire month of August! Up for grabs are three prizes of 50 DUO each!
We will be selling raffle tickets at the price of 1 HSBI per ticket. All you do is send 1 Hive to @steembasicincome and put @duo-curator in the memo as the sponsored account! There are no limits to how many tickets you can get this way!
The HSBI not only benefits you with upvotes on your post, but also the curation account's posts. This means more income coming in, of which 90% is paid back out and 10% is reinvested to compound the growth of the project.
