Hello Music Lovers..
It was a very beautiful day and I did had a quality me-time for over an hour when Jessica's call demanded I share my time with her.
I and Jessica are both music lovers and most times we recommend quality music to each other, so when I saw her call I thought maybe she was about to recommend another song to me until her voice was shaky.
"We broke up!!" and then she hung up, for a moment I had to process the message she told me, then I realized she meant she had ended things with her boyfriend. I didn't even know the right word to say to her, so I didn't call back immediately.
I was just wondering, why do people invest their time and emotion into something beautiful and then it just crashes right in front of you, is there a way to avert losing someone you love?
Some things are truly out of our control, I know how much time, Jessica had invested in her relationship, but it is what it is.
Sometimes I just wish we had the ability to read the motive behind people's action and reaction, I mean it could have saved so many people from pain, and heart breaks.
There is really no rules to loving someone, the more you look, the less you see.
Few minutes later, she shared a song on her WhatsApp status and I checked the song out right away.
The lyrics of the song brought goosebumps on my skin.
It's sad that sometimes we fill people up until we are empty and when we need some refill, they leave us empty.
This song says it all, i could tell how much she was hurting, how do you tear down everything you've built with someone you love so much? It's something impossible, because the more you try, the more you get hurt.

Sometimes I feel it's best to love someone from a distance, that way you know you won't get hurt.
I finally tried to reach her to cheer her up but I know it's easier said than done, I just hope she finds the strength to move on.

The moment we learn to deal with pain, that moment we become powerful but the fact remains that people deal with pain differently and some people heal in weird ways.
Some never really heal, they just learn to hide their scars.. I wish anyone who's hurting love and light and to those who find it hard to talk about their silent battles, I wish you find the strength to keep fighting. We've not truly lived, if we've not recklessly loved before, but I hope some day everyone finds someone who matches up the energy they bring to the table.
