Today I'd like to share a little video from our last Jam Session.

I call myself very lucky to have so many musically minded friends to join forces with; you all know some of them here on Hive: @steevc, @purplesinger, @daniellemurray and @todayslight.

John has been a long-time member of the "Arlesey Jammers", which isn't a band, but a group of like-minded people meeting up to have fun making music together.
I am always happy when he plays this one for me as it's one of my favourite songs that I haven't mastered yet to play and sing at the same time.

For John it was one of the first ones he learned when picking up the guitar many, many years ago, which is amazing, as it's very difficult to play; but it served him well and he's now one or our most proficient players! He is still very grateful that his teacher challenged him from the start like this.

I have to admit that I felt a little tipsy that afternoon after having had one teeny-weeny Shandy; to start with and I was worried it would go all pear shaped, but I think I got away with it! Phew... And, yes, you guessed it, I don't normally drink.. haha
