Hola amigos || Hello friends
Music has given me wonderful works and unforgettable artists. I love when I find artists with incredible talent. I know that many of you will surely know the artist I am sharing with you today, I have just a few months listening to him and every day I fall in love with his songs, his way of composing which is quite loaded with funk, jazz and pop and of course, his way of singing. Today I want to share with you some songs by the Latin American seducer, Alex Cuba.
The story that Alexis Puentes, known as Alex Cuba, tells is very appealing to me. It is an incredible story. The artist from a very young age had a family environment very inclined to music. His father was a renowned Cuban guitarist and his mother was an incredible soprano. He is one of those independent artists who managed to win a Grammy with a production he made in the garage of his house. Yes, of course this motivates anyone not to give up on their dreams. After this first Grammy for his work Healer in 2009, there were many more nominations, in fact, the following year he was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2010 Grammys.
These days I casually chatted with my friend @elisonr13 to work on one of the songs of the artist under discussion in this new #TTT Tuesday. The song that just today I will present as the first of this series of songs is a work that is called ¨Solo Mía¨ A song that is impregnated with pure love. Here we find a great musical work with two incredible voices that come together to convey the feeling of being madly in love. Sincerely a ballad that comes with a lot of power.
At a certain point, that Caribbean or rather Cuban swing lives on in Alex even though he has been living in Canada for many years. What you are born with, you are born with and you never lose it. It is difficult to get a Cuban without the Sugar that characterizes them. This next work that I present to you has that Cuban rhythm very present. It is quite an interesting ballad. One of the characteristics of the artist that in many occasions he himself records each one of the instruments that the production of the musical work merits. In ¨Amor En La Distancia¨ we find the theme of love that transcends distance. It reminds me of those long-distance loves I had as a teenager because I was studying in a different city from my own. Of those days that I waited anxiously for them to arrive to run to be with my religion, my love at a distance.
Another and last, this magnificent work that does lean a little more towards pop but still has that Caribbean rhythm. Alex's sublime voice presents us again with another love song that immerses us in those moments when we feel cowed to express what we feel. What I really like about this song is the rhythm and that double bass that shines throughout the melody. There is no doubt that Alex Cuba knows how to do his job very well and manages to transmit with strength all his artistic splendor.
That's all for today and it has been a pleasure to share with you some of my musical tastes. And well, not only that, but also a little bit of me. As always, I was very pleased to share in this initiative of my friend @ablaze and with you. I'm sure we'll see you next #ThreeTuneTuesday.
me despido, mi querida familia.
