Hello hivers. I was checking my phone to see what photos I have to use in future posts and I found these that I share today, taking advantage of the fact that it's #tbt Thursday hehehe, they are from a rock concert that is already a tradition in La Victoria (Aragua), the Rock between buddies. This concert has been going on for 15 years and they always do it on the basketball court in sector 3 of Las Mercedes.
El Rock entre panas fue creado por el músico Fernando Rodríguez para darle un espacio al rock en esta ciudad y para dar a conocer a las bandas regionales, se realiza cada año a finales de diciembre, en esta ocasión fue el 29 de diciembre, la hora pautada eran las 6 de la tarde y se iban a presentar nueve bandas locales, aunque al final fueron siete bandas las que subieron al escenario. Este evento es totalmente gratuito y la alcaldía de La Victoria presta su apoyo en el área de logística y seguridad.
The Rock between buddies was created by the musician Fernando Rodríguez to give a space to rock in the city and to make regional bands known, it takes place every year at the end of December, on this occasion it was on December 29, the scheduled time was 6 in the afternoon and nine local bands were going to perform, although in the end there were seven bands that took the stage. This event is completely free and the La Victoria mayor's office provides its support in the area of logistics and security.
El rock es mi música favorita 🤘🏻así que por supuesto no me lo iba a perder jejeje, aunque para ser sincera 🙈🤫, era la primera vez que iba a este concierto tan esperado cada año por todos los roqueros de La Victoria y las ciudades cercanas jajaja, ya que siempre me enteraba al día siguiente 🥴🙄😒, y las dos veces que me dijeron a tiempo, no pude ir 😕☹️.
Rock is my favorite music 🤘🏻 so of course I wasn't going to miss it hehehe, although to be honest 🙈🤫, it was the first time I went to this concert, which is so anticipated every year by all the rockers from La Victoria and the cities close hahaha, since I always found out the next day 🙄😒, and the two times they told me on time, I couldn't go 😕☹️.
Fui con mi hermana y allá nos esperaban unos amigos, llegamos como media hora antes y la verdad es que aún no habían terminado de montar todo el escenario ni las luces, así que como ya es costumbre aquí, no empezó a las 6 sino casi a las 8 🙄🥴 jajaja 🤷🏻♀️. De todas maneras había una excelente vibra en el ambiente, la gente iba llegando poco a poco y el DJ estaba musicalizando el lugar con muy buena música 🤘🏻.
I went with my sister and some friends were waiting for us there, we arrived about half an hour early and the truth is that they hadn't yet finished setting up the entire stage or the lights, so as is customary here, it didn't start at 6 but almost at 8 o'clock 🙄🥴 hahaha 🤷🏻♀️. In any case, there was an excellent vibe in the atmosphere, people were arriving little by little and the DJ was musicalizing the place with very good music 🤘🏻.
Las bandas que se presentaron en el Rock entre panas del año pasado son todas de versiones y no reciben pago alguno por su show ya que la organización no cuenta con patrocinadores ☹️, pero al menos es una buena oportunidad para ellas de darse a conocer, y aparte de eso, lo importante es rockear y divertirse 🎸🤘🏻😎.
The bands that performed at last year's Rock between buddies are all cover bands and they don't receive any payment for their show since the organization doesn't have sponsors ☹️, but at least it's a good opportunity to make themselves known and apart from that, the important thing is to rock and have fun 🎸🤘🏻😎.

El lugar se llenó de gente y había personas que habían venido desde las ciudades más cercanas como Maracay, Turmero y Cagua e incluso de un poquito más lejos como Valencia (Carabobo) y San Juan de los morros (Guárico), el rock nos une 😁.
The place was filled with people and there were people who had come from the closest cities like Maracay, Turmero and Cagua and even from a little further away like Valencia (Carabobo) and San Juan de los Morros (Guárico), rock unites us 😁 .
Si bien lo estábamos pasando súper bien y no parábamos de cantar, yo no perdía la oportunidad de hacer fotos jejeje, en los alrededores había venta de cerveza y otras bebidas alcohólicas, aunque vi a mucha gente que se había traído de su casa su cava con hielo y sus botellas de ron, sangría y quién sabe que otra cosa 🍾🤣🤣, muchos hasta le brindaban a los músicos que estaban en tarima jejeje. No me gusta el alcohol así que yo tenía mi botella con agua 💧😁.
Although we were having a great time and we couldn't stop singing, I didn't miss the opportunity to take photos hehe, in the surrounding area there was beer and other alcoholic beverages for sale although I saw many people who had brought their cava with ice and their bottles of rum, sangria and who knows what else 🍾🤣🤣, many even offered to the musicians who were on stage hehehe. I don't like alcohol so I had my bottle with water 💧😁.
El clima estaba muy fresco y el cielo totalmente despejado, algo típico durante el mes de diciembre en Venezuela. La cancha donde se realizó el concierto está rodeada de casas así que muchas personas que les gusta el rock disfrutaban el espectáculo desde sus patios y balcones, y a los que no les gusta el rock supongo que esa noche no durmieron 😂😂😂.
The weather was very cool and the sky was completely clear, something typical during the month of December in Venezuela. The court where the concert was held is surrounded by houses so many people who like rock enjoyed the show from their patios and balconies, and those who don't like rock I guess they didn't sleep that night 😂😂😂.
El concierto terminó a las 2:30 de la mañana y nadie se quería ir jajaja, me conseguí a unos amigos que iban hacia el centro igual que mi hermana y yo así que nos vinimos caminando y conversando gratamente, fue una hora de caminata entre las solitarias y silenciosas calles nocturnas jejeje.
The concert ended at 2:30 in the morning and no one wanted to leave hahaha, I found some friends who were going downtown just like my sister and I, so we walked and chatted pleasantly, it was an hour of walking between the lonely and silent night streets hehehe.
Me divertí mucho, canté, bailé y salté jajaja, compartí con mis amigos y me encontré con gente que tenía mucho tiempo sin ver, fue una noche muy agradable y llena de la energía del rock 🤘🏻🎸. I had a lot of fun, I sang, danced and jumped hahaha, I shared with my friends and met people I hadn't seen for a long time, it was a very pleasant night and full of rock energy 🤘🏻🎸.
