What's up, guys? 🤙
It's 21:21pm and it's very hot here in Rio de Janeiro, I'm a carioca who doesn't get along very well with the heat here. 😫
Well...
I don't always have an incridible initial idea when I start making a Beat, I just collect a few "one shots" and from there i playing on the production line and let the creativity flow.
I love the idea of being able to manipulate the audio as if it were a modeling clay and thus being able to create the atmosphere you want. The rhythm for me has to do with how I feel music through my body and "Lights" is basically a mixture of all that, a clipping that I manipulate a song I like, a mug noise recorded with a low quality cell phone and the image is the light that enters through the bedroom window on sunny days at 4:20 pm.

São 21:21 da noite e tá um calor infernal aqui no Rio de Janeiro, sou um carioca que não se da muito bem com o calor que faz aqui. 😫

Nem sempre eu tenho uma ideia inicial quando eu começo a fazer um Beat, apenas recolho alguns "one shots" e a partir daí vou jogando na linha de produção e deixando a criatividade fluir.
Eu adoro a ideia de poder manipular o áudio como se fosse uma massa de modelar e assim podendo criar a atmosfera que desejar. O ritmo para mim tem a ver com como eu sinto a música através do meu corpo e "Luzes" é basicamente uma mistura de tudo isso, um recorte que manipulei de alguma música que eu gosto, um barulho de caneca gravado com o celular de baixa qualidade, e a imagem é a luz que entra pela janela do quarto nos dias ensolarados às 4:20h da tarde.
