Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
My Tuesdays are already solidified as the day I write about music. So, if there's any chance that I will be writing a Hive post on Tuesdays, you can be sure that it will be a music post in 9 out of 10 times.
So, for today's edition of my three tunes Tuesday, I will be sharing 3 tunes with y'all. I made a list of these songs within the week. I usually like to have a theme for the songs I will be sharing. However, I don't think there's any general theme that's attached to each of these songs.
1. APT by BRUNO MARS and ROSÉ.
I just heard this song today for the very first time. It was used as a soundtrack in a YouTube short I watched. The sync between the video and the soundtrack got me very curious about the song. I did a quick check and to my greatest surprise, Bruno Mars happened to be featured in the song.
The song is just 11 days old and the Rose lady is actually a New Zealand-South Korean singer. This first encounter I'm having with her music is very good. I would have to pay attention to more of her songs. However, this particular one is quite good.
2. Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words) by COUNT BASIE and FRANK SINATRA.
For this particular song, feel free to take it however you want. However, this classical masterpiece could easily turn to a comical tune depending on how you view it and the mood you were in. Songs like these really hits the spot for several reasons.
The video quality though. It hits the spot as a classical old-school song which was released years ago. There's obviously no nudity in this music video. Awesome song right there.
3. Gangnam Style by PSY.
Before writing this post, I watched this 3 hours interview where Andrew Schulz and Akash had Yeonmi Park as a guest on the Flagrant podcast. At some point in that interview, they talked about PSY's hit song which took the world by surprise.
That's part of the reason why I'm sharing this song in my three tunes for the week. I believe it's safe to say that this song had a worldwide popularity which made it the most viewed music video on YouTube at some point.
That's where we will wrap up today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
