Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

It's a pleasure to be back here for another edition of Three Tunes Tuesday. I probably wouldn't be writing this post by this time of the night. It just happens to be the best thing I could possibly do after being held back at home by rainfall.

This means that my outdoor evening walk for today isn't happening. It also hasn't happened a lot within the last two weeks because of rainfall.

Well... It's nothing to worry too much about.

For today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, I will be sharing a couple of songs that hit hard about reality. I need a lot of that right now to stay on my grind and achieve someone huge before the end of this year.

Check them out;

1. UWAM by Phyno.

Nice! I'm even starting my three Tunes selection for the day with an Afrobeat. That sure says a lot about the song itself because it's very hard to see me use Afritunes in my three-tune post. Phyno is an absolute legend and this is just a snippet.

It's not a song that would be understood by most people. In fact, a lot of Nigerians would still struggle to pick up on some aspects of the songs where he spoke the Igbo language. Nonetheless, the song speaks facts about the dark reality we are facing in this part of the world. It speaks of our struggle and the resilience it takes to thrive.

Phyno released this song 5 years ago without any music video for the song. Yet, everything about the song still reflects the Nigeria of today.

2. ANOTHER LOVE by Tom Odell.

Just for this moment... Let's disregard the core message of this song. Of course, it's something related to love and whatnot. However, every time I listen to the song, the musical brilliance captured in the sound hits me really hard.

The music video also matches the sort of simplicity, clarity, and quality I like to see in music videos. Playing this gives me an adrenaline pump. It just makes me double my grind to build a good future for myself.

3. MOCKINGBIRD by Eminem.

Eminem is an absolute legend. I was just checking out a bunch of British rap battles on YouTube when I came across some of those that featured Eminem. The dude is one hell of a rapper.

It hasn't been up to 3 years since I started vibing to Eminem. However, he has become someone I enjoy most of his songs. This particular one sends shivers down my spine. It's also interesting to see how far his daughter has grown since then till this moment.

This brings us to the end of today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday.
