Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
As a music fan and someone who has a genuine appreciation for good music, I always make the time to come here on Tuesdays and share some songs with y'all. Music is an interesting art, you know?
I get my songs from several places and for several reasons. Some of the songs that hit the spot are the ones I find in the weirdest of places. Haha. For example, I have a whole music folder dedicated to remarkable soundtracks used in movies and TV shows.
Yeah!
Since Christmas is around the corner, I hope y'all are getting set for my Christmas-themed Three Tunes selection. Well, that won't be for this Tuesday. Perhaps, next Tuesday or the following one may be a good time for today.
For today's edition, here are the songs that got into my selection;
1. Copycat by BILLIE EILISH.
The bass for this song hits hard. It's a pure joke of a bass and I was digging around to know if there was a reason for the absence of an official music video for this song. I couldn't find any.
Well, the song has already been used as the background song for a lot of movie clips compilations on YouTube. Honestly, that's how I even got to know about this song... Through a movie clip compilation on YouTube
2. Shameless by CAMILA CABELLO.
Oh, my! This song just got buried in my playlist. It has been longer than a while since I played this song. It has even been so much longer since I shared it here. If I'm not mistaken, this would be my first time sharing this song here since 2024.
Camila is adorable. She's one of those artists I know from just a song. This is her only song in my playlist and that must have been why it was so easy for her name to be buried in the midst of all the songs I have in my playlist. While I already know this particular album to be awesome, I need to spend time checking out more of her songs.
3. Sweet Dreams by EURYTHMICS.
Just like Camila CABELLO who I have only one of her song in my playlist, I also have just one song by Eurythmics in my playlist. I do play this more often than the former and it's as old-school as you can imagine. The song is more than 40 years old, and it's still refreshing to listen to it.
...Some of them want to be used🎵
...some of them want to be abused 🎵
Those are from the chorus of the song, and that entire chorus cracks me up for real. Haha. You might want to check out the song.
That's it for this week's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday. See y'all on next week's edition.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
