Hello good day everyone. I am hoping that your weekend was good. Well today I want to share to you how I learned this kind of instrument. Last 2005 our missionary who was the pianist of our church decided to go back to her mother church in manila. Before she left she asked to the church if who would like to learn to play piano and somebody encouraged me to attend the session and by God's grace I was able to finish the couple of sessions. I did not expect that I will be the one to replace her to play the piano in the church. In short since the day our pianist went her home church, I took over the pianist place in the worship service of our church. While I was still learning how to read notes, I asked the songleader to give me the list of the songs so that I can practice everyday from Monday to Saturday for familiarity of the notes and the songs. I am so grateful for the people who encouraged me to keep practicing so that I can play well in the church. On that day I am the pianist in our church up to 2010 until God lead me to another Island for a campus ministry.
This is my first keyboard. I bought this last 2016. However, last 2019 I decided to help the church in Siquijor (this is another Island close to Negros Island) since they don't have a pianist in their Church. I was the one playing every Sunday and in another occasions. while I was staying there, I desired to train somebody to play the keyboard, somebody who is committed to render his/her service in the ministry. Amazingly God provided somebody. When pandemic came last 2020 before lockdown I decided to go home. Since that day up until now that person is the one playing in the church in Siquijor.
This picture was taken when I visited in Siquijor lately on the 3rd week of August 2022.
Since my keyboard is in Siquijor and they are using it. I decided to buy another one. This is my 2nd keyboard. It is 1 year already since I bought it.
One of our churchmates requested to play and sing the song in titled "Only One Life."
These photos were taken during our online worship service.
Thank you so much hivers for reading my story. Have a nice day!
