It's Tuesday today and that means it's time to share music and vibes again in response to the musical call by @ablaze in the form of #threetunestuesday.
I'll admit, this last week I've been behind in my musical exploration mostly due to exams, so today I had to do a quick check up on some artists that I followed.
Unsurprisingly, some of these artists had released a few new songs plus some songs that had come up on my feed that I haven't heard or listen to before.
Since I hadn't listened to them, I guess they are all new tunes...
So lets begin...
Money Ties ~ Ren
Ren and Powfu seems to be some of the most productive artists in my library this year as they're releasing projects after projects.
I love all of Powfu works but some of Ren's are a bit hard for me to relate to.
There are some that I like though and that's his latest work Money Ties.
In this song, Ren advices his sister. Teaching her about the need for kindness in life and about the use of money.
How money affects people and are affected by people, it's not evil but it can make people evil.
Its a pretty interesting and enlightening song.
Johnny P's Caddy ~ Benny the Butcher ft J.Cole
Now this is an old song that I hadn't heard before, despite the fact that it has one of the hardest verse that J.Cole had ever spat.
A song that boasts about these two rappers rise to fame, a steady beat, lovely melody, and hard rhymes...
Memory ~ Promoting Sounds ft Rxseboy
Rxseboy is an artist that I found through Powfu, they've done lots of collaborations together and I fell in love with his calmly paced rhymes.
It's quite different from normal fast paced hip-hop rappers.
Despite being quite fast, it's still slow that you can hear the lyrics and feel the impact and emotion...
Memory talks about a break-up, and the lad trying to forget and/or live with the memories of the past.
These are my three songs for today. All rap but quote different themes and all new.. at least new to me😂.
Which ones did y'all like best?
