Hey y'all...
Well I don't have quite much to say...
It's a Tuesday and we've got our usual routine of sharing three songs as far as #ttt goes..
Been having a really off day, just moving and flowing through.
A real blue day.
So of course I was inspired or rather led to choose songs from the iconic genre for today's list.
Blue's Music
This is a rather unique genre of music.
Recorded as the father of jazz and one of the most soulful genre in the musical world.
Apparently it's meant to show the yearnings of the African-Americans that suffered slavery and segregation in the Us for the last 200 years.
This is to show that it was first heard in the United States, from the West. (For more information, one can always go to Wikipedia 😌.)
With the introductions out of the way..
Let's get on to our tunes....
1. Roundhouse Blues - The Doors
Now I forgot to say..
I don't really know much about the Blues song😂
I do like their sounds but I'm not as knowledgeable on it as I am on rap or others so I can't give a really perfect preview of what the songs about.
All I can say is that they were on the road to somewhere and it had a really catchy hook😭😂😂🔥
2. The Thrill is Gone ~ B.B. King
And now a more easier to understand song.
This is actually a cover of the original 1951 song by Roy Hawkins. This cover reached 15 in the Billboard Hot 10p and number 3 in the R and B charts, making it the most successful track of his.
The song like all blues song is quite simple.
Just a guy trying to get over a breakup 😂
3. Born Under A Bad Sign ~ Albert King
Now this is easily my best sing out of this trio.
With an eye catching guitar band, Albert king tells us about just how bad it can be to be born under a bad sign.
