I didn't get a chance to write yesterday for my three tune Tuesday. I ended up playing pickleball until midnight and went to have McDonalds after with my cousin. By the time I came back and showered, I was too tired to write my post. Even though it's Wednesday already here, I'm still going to write my three tune Tuesday. I never missed and I will keep maintaining this. Today, I will be sharing some three random songs I discovered recently. They are by different artists and different styles so I hope you like at least one of these songs.
#1. 你的家 Your Home - 丁世光 Dean Ting
I'm starting off with a slow yet deep meaningful song. I saw a cover of this song on some Chinese singing variety show on YouTube and I saw one of the family members cried because they probably related deeply with the song so this song is very powerful. The song is about growing up and learning from our parents. They are there as guidance when we are kids but as we grow up we tend to be more independent and the communication can sometimes be not as great due to the distance. As the person grows older and matures, they have a deeper appreciation of the sacrifices that their family made. Then at the end of the song it's about passing on that experience and love to the next generation and possibly sacrificing so it's like a cycle of life.
#2. Qi - Phidel
This is a song I found randomly from Spotify. It's not that famous on YouTube though with less than 1m views but this piano piece is over 10 years old and has over 95 million plays on Spotify. There's no lyrics to this song since it's purely piano. The interpretation is pretty open ended so I don't have any exact meaning for this song. I just found it to be very peaceful and nice to get some work done with.
#3. 卡農 in Love - 蔡佩軒 Ariel Tsai
Now this has been my favorite song recently. My favorite song is always changing but I just found this song to be super innovative and the lyrics are very sweet. I love how she turned a piano piece like canon into a song and kind of modernizing it into a Chinese song. Honestly, I hope to see more songs that innovate from classical piano music. I feel like this could be a great wedding song. The song is about falling in love and vowing to be there for each other until death.
Thank You
If you made it to the end, thank you so much for reading and listening. What do you think of the songs today?
Please don't be afraid to share your three songs every Tuesday! Share the music share the love.
Credits
I do not own any of these songs and these are not my YouTube channels; it's just for fair use and sharing new music to everybody. All credit for these songs go to their singer🙏.
