I played pickleball yesterday and I didn't feel like I played that well. Above picture is a photo of an ice bath for one of the pickleball places which I will highlight in a future blog so that's like a sneak peek. It's Tuesday so you know what it's time for. It's time for my weekly sharing of three songs for three tune Tuesday. Today, I have some banger songs and I know the last song will get stuck in your head. I tried to focus on songs that incorporated a bit of Korean in the lyrics while having Chinese but the last song is Vietnamese + Korean.
#1. Endless Love - Jackie Chan & Kim Hee Seon
Now this is a bit of an old Chinese song! It's the theme song from a movie called The Myth which stars Jackie Chan! I watched this movie when I was a kid. In this song, he sings a duet with the main actress Kim Hee Seon. The song has a mix of Chinese and Korean lyrics. The Chinese lyrics are mostly sang by Jackie while Kim sang the Korean lyrics. In order to feel out the song at it's max potential, you have to watch the movie. the song is about two people that are in love with each other. The love isn't easy and they struggle a lot. Even after all the trouble, they promise to love each other no matter how many years and even death.
#2. You are so cute - Kenji Wu ft Song Ji Hyo
I don't have much to say for this song. This is a cute song. I liked how there was a collaboration with Chinese singer, Kenji Wu, with Korean actress Song Ji Hyo. Song Ji Hyo is famous for being one of the cast members for Running Man, famous Korean variety show! The song is a sweet love song about realizing how cute the person next to them is. It could be someone falling in love or that first date at least that's how I interpreted it.
#3. KHÔNG SAO CẢ - 7dnight
I'm sure a lot of you heard a part of this song before. It's super viral and trending right now in any short videos whether you watch on Instagram, YouTube or Tiktok. This song originated from a Vietnamese rap reality tv show. The really famous part is the part where they go gwenchana ding ding ding. It's super catchy and gets stuck in your head. I wanted to share this song because I think most people haven't heard the whole song. The rap in Vietnamese is fire and I hope you enjoy the song. The song also has a great meaning which talks about the struggles in life. That's where the gwenchana comes from. It's saying it's ok no problem; we continue to persevere through these problems.
Thank You
If you made it to the end, thank you so much for reading and listening. What do you think of the songs today?
Please don't be afraid to share your three songs every Tuesday! Share the music share the love.
